Spring Terrace Housing Corporation
About the Business
Spring Terrace Housing Corporation is a non-profit organization located at 7101 North Interstate Highway 35 in Austin, Texas. We provide affordable housing for families and single adults through 28 communities in the area. The majority of our budget comes from the affordable rents paid by our residents, which help cover operating expenses for our communities.
We are committed to investing in green building initiatives to reduce operating costs, lower residents' utility bills, and create a more sustainable living environment. Our goal is to make our community a better place to live for all residents.
Construction crews with BEC Austin are currently working on the Parker Lane Apartments, with a summer opening planned. We are dedicated to providing updates on our blog, including resident success stories, program updates, volunteer opportunities, and information about our partners.
Join us in our mission to provide affordable housing and create a thriving community for all residents. Visit our website to learn more about our initiatives and how you can get involved.

"One of the best facilities and outfits to get yourself set up into low income housing in Austin. My four stars is only an indicator that there's always room for an improvement. But I've been capable of getting things straightened out in my life with the help of foundation properties and the people involved with it. To them I am grateful."
"The people who are running this place is a joke. They lie, and mislead you with the lamest excuses. They turned down MY application due to a low-life landlord that the staff h committed (CRIMES) against me, and I even offered confirmation from the court, and prosecutor, and they turned me down based SOLELY on that factor Alone. I don't have bad rental history, nor criminal record, and I provided Everything that was required; and so they let me become homeless on SOLELY the word of a low-life slumlord!!! The whole community foundation is a racket, with people working there that can't be any good, because WHY would they continue to have staffing issues?! It's a racket. Even while I was there doing the application, various tenants there had already given me an idea of what to Expect, and, THEY DIDN'T LIE!!!!"
"It was. A great day of learning the new Samsung 21 Smart phone with K as "Chief" instructor."
"The worst place to live noise and noisy people that dont know how to mind there bussiness werid set up worst place due to its set up.the way it is ran and the people who work here most are semi pleasant and the other ones are rude asf alot of people here need to learn to mind there own business and issues . people yell and are loud and rude dont expect to sleep"
"I've lived there for four years. The property had a promising beginning and caring staff. I feel it went downhill after the first year of opening. I left highly depressed and me suffering from PTSD symptoms. I believe one wouldn't succeed as they advertised and that they mislead people about how they assist people other than giving them affordable housing. I understand this sentiment is only among their Terrace properties. The staff practiced overt condescension upon residents who are formerly homeless, low-income, and suffering from illnesses. The family properties, I am told, are superb."
