"Staff tends to only respond to emails or calls when their reviews are at stake. When I initially faced housing conflicts in 2023, I received no response until I submitted a negative online review. Despite seven housing complaints against a problematic, racist roommate since January 2024, staff has yet to address the issue. There's a lack of transparency regarding whether my roommate is even aware of these complaints. It's typical for cheap housing to be managed by young, likely student staff. However, balancing school and a full-time job makes it impractical for me to continually visit in person without resolution. The manager offered an in-person discussion with the problematic roommate, but it yielded no results. Living here has been less than ideal. I've experienced repeated theft despite being on the third floor. Maintenance services are poor, and even the pool, the only highlight, is poorly maintained. Also, their responses to these reviews are lies lol They are NOT gonna be replying to those emails or calls; records to prove it."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. Jaelyn, Maryam and Taylor took good care of me and helped me out getting the apartment I wanted and I am very grateful to them for that. And every time I go to the front office with a question, they’re happy to help me. The maintenance crew, Luis and Jose, is also really cool and hardworking. I always come with them with questions about repairs they’re doing in my apartment and they’re patient to answer and make sure I understand, while fixing the problem at the same time. I’ve been living here for 2 and half years and it’s been a good experience."

"I ve moved to town lake in August and I really like it. The rooms are good size, the rent is really affordable, the staff organizes great events to create a sense of community in the complex. Everyone in the leasing center is really helpful and kind especially the leasing manager Jaelyn. She is really going above and beyond to help everyone and keep everything running."

"It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review, but potential residents need to be aware. While living at Town Lake, I faced a significant personal loss when my $1,000 electric skateboard was stolen from the premises. Given that the incident took place within the direct view of the security cameras, I am confident the person who stole it would’ve been caught by the footage. Because of this, I hoped the management would be swift and helpful in pulling up the footage to assist with the investigation. However, my experience with the apartment office regarding this matter has been nothing short of frustrating. I’ve personally visited the office on four separate occasions, each time providing my contacts since they always seemed to have “lost” my contact information. Each time I gave them my number they assured me that they would reach out “shortly.” It has been a month and a half since my initial visit, and there has been complete silence from their end. It’s disappointing to feel like my concerns have been brushed under the rug. Not only am I left with the loss of my valuable possession, but it also appears as if the office has taken no real steps to retrieve the camera footage. They continually assure me that they’re working on it, but their lack of communication and transparency suggests otherwise. For an establishment that should pride itself on community and safety, this lack of concern and poor communication is disheartening. I genuinely hope no other resident has to face such a lack of support in their time of need."

"The price is great but the management is just way too complicated and unreliable. Initially, our unit was not completely furnished as promised and we lived without a couch for the majority of our first semester. They kept changing the expected date of our couch and it was extremely annoying to deal with. Recently our apartment was flooded due to an upstairs pipe leak and after a month they still haven’t finished repairs that were promised to be finished the week the incident happened. They are extremely unreliable and I suggest you seek other living conditions that will at least handle problems truthfully rather than lie and just wait for you to bother them enough to do something about it. Update 10/06/2023 : Recently we’ve has issues with our refrigerator not working and although they tried to fix it, we ended up having to switch to another one. This wasn’t the issue- the issue was that they gave us a fridge full of dead bugs and other disgusting mess i cant even figure out. We were NOT expecting anything new or fancy, but this is just ridiculous. We’ve made maintain requests since about April 2023 and they have yet to be addressed. Literally not a single request besides one (we’ve had to make many) has been fixed. Our microwave was supposed to get hung back up in April, yet it’s October and it’s still sitting on the counter where it shouldn’t. The one maintenance request they did answer prior to the fridge was regarding the AC, which they had to get into my bedroom walls in order to fix the system. I didn’t care, because i figured it would be just the same as I left it. Instead, they left uneven lines and paint all along my wall and ceiling. Our drains keep clogging and those maintenance requests are yet to get looked into. It’s extremely frustrating that this kind of stuff keeps happening and it makes living here more of a hassle than it should be."
