"Came here for a game night with a friend and parked in the visitor parking at the way back of the apartment complex. We left at 10:30pm to find that our friends car was gone. We were parked in the clearly defined visitor parking spot and there are absolutely no towing signs to be found. Called 311 and sure enough her car had been towed. On the way out we saw the tow truck pulling back into the lot to catch the next chump. "Reliant" towing said they were "very familiar" with Polaris on the Park, as they go there all the time and showed us the signs that are supposedly posted at one of the entrances... but nowhere on the sign does it actually say Towing Enforced! They also have no hours posted on them. Idk if the apartment gets a kickback from selling out their tenants and their visitors.. but this is a predatory practice at worst and scummy at best. Shame on the management for this! If you are going to have a strict towing policy you need to post signage in the parking lot that says Towing Enforced and not hide it away in the small and vague print over 150 yards away. Another reviewer posted saying the appartment complex let Reliant tow his car even with a sticker and it looks like they didn't even apologize or offer to pay the towing fee of their own tenant who was illegally towed on their property. Shame shame"
"I thank the management of the complex for the good treatment and for ensuring the comfort of the residents. The security and cleanliness of the complex are well done. (May God have mercy on a servant who did a job and perfected it)"
"I lived at Polaris for year and moved out for school. The units themselves are nothing super fancy, but they're affordable. We did have roach issues and our unit did not get a ton of natural light. Otherwise, it's a good place if you need a cheaper price. The thing that makes Polaris absolutely worth it is the staff. The office and the maintenance are so responsive, kind, and helpful. Shoutout to Gina, Stanley, and Adrian, who we saw often. They were super awesome during our lease. You don't get people like them at every apartment complex, so definitely check this place out if you are on a budget!"
"I've lived at Polaris on the Park for 2 years, and recently moved out back in December. Overall is a nice apartment. Management is so nice, especially Alex. The maintenance men were all amazing and have been there through my entire lease. They've always socialized with me and were so friendly. Ive never had any significant maintenance issues at all. Everything got taken care of immediately. The towing is a bit strict but I was never uncomfortable with it. My license plates did get stolen once. Never had a break in. I did wish at times that there were laundry connections or included. I think the price at the time was great, but with the up charge on rent, I didn't think it was worth it. There are many other properties with the same pricing and more amenities. I am very much happy with my overall experience with Polaris. This place will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was my first apartment and got to raise my family here. Thank you to all the team that took care of this property and catered to it's tenants! You guys are awesome!"
"UPDATE: there is a new property manager. She and her staff are not willing to go above and beyond for residents. In fact, they are often unwilling to act on concerns including those of noise complaints, filing maintenance requests, and help with urgent packages in my experience. The price of rent continues to rise despite seeing no positive change to the complex. The apartment is fine and pretty peaceful but expect minimal care and attentiveness from management or staff at this time. Their only response to the ongoing pandemic is to disallow any non emergency maintenance requests. No concern over those who may have trouble with rent due to recent layoffs. 3.5 stars. This is by far the best apartment complex I've lived in while in Austin. I've been here for 2 years and counting. The best part about living here is management. They are super quick to respond with a solution to any problem I've had, whether it be maintenance or a neighbor not picking up after their dog. Jenna, the property manager is an absolute delight. She goes above and beyond to make sure residents are comfortable and happy. She has even taken packages to my door because I was at work, and couldn't pick them up from the office. The apartments have recently been renovated, and are super spacious. The complex is super quiet (we've never had to file a noise complaint) and all the residents are super friendly. We know all of our neighbors, which has not been the case in previous apartments I've lived in. In my personal opinion, one of the best parts about Polaris on the Park is that it's affordable. How can you beat a place that's affordable, clean, and well-run? The complex in its entirety is super well-maintained too. They have lawn crews out every single week, and the laundry room is cleaned often. Overall, there is nothing negative I can say about this complex. I am so glad I found it!"
