Reviews of Creekside at Kenney's Fort
"¡¡¡Definitely Don't Move HERE!!! It is the most harassing leasing company I have ever seen. Every day they are looking for what they can do to charge you something more. Ashley from the office if you don't speak English well, they won't even look at you. The maintenance is very good, it's a shame you have those leasing people working in the office. The price is super expensive for the harassment they have with the residents. If you want to waste your money this is your property"
"I have lived in apts complexes for around 30 years, best place by far has the best staff, Doreen and her staff are just the greatest. In my opinion, they go above and beyond to take care of their residents!! If you are looking for a modern clean well maintained apartment, I recommend creekside at Kenny fort!! I have lived there for 4 years and never had any issues with maintenance or staff, maintenance is very proactive. Everybody at creekside are just the friendliest people to deal with!!"
"I love living here! It is, for the most part, quiet, safe, and relaxing. I love my apartments privacy and never had an issue with getting something fixed or an issue addressed. My neighbors are generally very respectful and I don’t really finding myself losing sleep or peace from loud noises. My only note is there are quite a few people who ignore the leash laws both in round rock and on our lease and walk their dog off leash, which has put my dog in danger multiple times. My older dog, who passed 2 months ago, was even attacked by one of these dogs about a year ago. My other, current, dog has been provoked but no attack has taken place yet as I can easily pick her up to eliminate the threat. This is not a reflection of the complex as they cannot do anything without proof or actually witnessing the account, but it is also an issue that I have run into everywhere I have lived so it’s something that needs to be noted."
"Cameron and Angela in the leasing office are so friendly and helpful! I brought my clients in for a tour, and Cameron went above and beyond to make sure they felt welcome! He gave them a great tour and made their choice in a new home an easy one. I have also had the pleasure of working with Angela and she really puts the residents and future residents needs first! This is a beautiful community with a lot of amenities, and I always enjoy working with them."
"Multiple incidents of BLACK MOLD. Cockroaches. Scorpions. Centipedes. And so so so many spiders. Gushing leaks coming from the ceiling (and FYI, those were completely unrelated to our mold incident, since that mold came from the cheap AC unit) Creekside masquerades as a luxury apartment complex, but DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Despite the sweet office girls, this was BY FAR the worst apartment complex I've ever stayed in. My husband's work is seasonal, so we've stayed 21 complexes in 8 states, & this was by far the worst. I should've known from day 1. We moved in & construction debris & dead bugs were EVERYWHERE. I called the office asking it be cleaned. They sent a guy with a swiffer sweeper! He ended up borrowing MY supplies just to get the place to where we could walk around without shoes on! Originally I thought, oh they're a new complex still getting things figured out. Things only got worse. My friend moved into a unit MONTHS later & had the same problem! As she unpacked, she placed a brand new white comforter on the floor, & when she picked it up, it was covered in dirt! Moving on... Our neighbors had a ceiling leak from an improperly installed shower drain above their unit, which turned their entire wall into mold. Later we had the same leak in our place, with water pouring out of the ceiling. Separately, I started to notice mold growing on things like my shoes and the bathroom moulding. I kept cleaning it up. I'm from CO, so I thought maybe that was just Texas humidity. A month after living like that, we were out of town for 10 days. My husband came back first, and his exact words were "my shoes looked like a chia pet." Come to find out, the cheap AC unit wasn't able to handle a standard texas summer and was blowing mold spores all over! So my 2 young kids were breathing it in all that time. We lost thousands of dollars worth of personal belongings. Everything had to go in the trash. Did we get an apology? Nope. They moved us into another unit. We still had to pay rent, even during the time our belongings were being destroyed. Maybe worst of all... they NEVER notified other people in the building who may have been sharing air & breathing in the mold, and the moldy furniture stayed there for months while they were doing testing! I didn't even mention all of the really annoying practical things... like the fact it's impossible to take kids for a walk there without walking in the street, because the sidewalk is 80% people's driveways. Or the fact that there's only one dumpster on the whole property, so if you have to take something to the dumpster and you don't happen to be one of the lucky few who live near it, put your hiking shoes on. I knew quite a few residents who would pay a neighbor kid $5 just to take 1 bag all the way to the dumpster."
