"I love Jim’s Restaurant in Bartonville, IL and go there with my son to eat breakfast. Whether we wait weeks or months to go in, they are always so friendly and polite. Even if we get busy and do not return for 2 months or whatever, when we order, they always ask my son if he wants “his usual”(which is the large skillet breakfast, 2 sausage Pattie’s on the side, coffee and water.). How they can remember that is beyond me. They always ask him about his kids, it’s like we’re family. As for the food, it’s always cooked to perfection and is absolutely delicious! Also I love that we can order breakfast anytime!! If you are in Bartonville, make a point of stopping in, you won’t be disappointed and will no doubly become regular customers. We live in Peoria but the people and food at Jim’s is so great, it’s well worth the drive across the river!!!"

"Hamburger is one of the best around. It tastes like when my grandmother made me a burger. Their hamburger horseshoe is amazing. The cheese sauce actually has flavor. Their sweet tea is super sweet, just the way I like it. Reminds me of the good old southern sweet tea of my youth. Breakfast is always good here as well. If you are wanting something classy this isn't the place for you. It is the local dive joint that has good service and great food. Some might say it is a bit pricey, but you can't have everything."
