"I moved into the Milan this month and have already loved my experience! The apartment unit itself is more spacious than I expected, and the staff is helpful and hardworking. Looking forward to getting to know the other residents...and my dog loves the dog park!"
"I just moved in recently to a newly renovated unit. Very nice upgrades, quartz countertops throughout. Had a few maintenance requests at the beginning but nothing major and all was fixed in a timely manner. Thanks to all the staff at Milan. Y'all ROCK!! (UPDATED REVIEW) Upon further review and living here. I do NOT recommend this apartment community. From the maintenance/office staff - to the crime in the community. All have been an issue. - The community gate has worked for maybe 4 weeks throughout the entire year. My car was broken into twice. luckily I caught the culprits the 2nd time, and what do you know, they were my neighbors! ALSO, A MURDER HAD OCCURED LAST MONTH IN THE COMPLEX.... - Upon several request for unpleasant odors under sinks, all the staff did was pour drain-o down. The problem was never fixed. Even after I complained on several occasions. all they did was spray fragrance under the sink. never once did they snake the drain... - Trash violations. They require valet trash which is convenient due to the dumpsters being quite far from buildings. However, they did not provide any lids for the valet trash cans provided, and when a squirrel ripped a 3 inch hole in my bag, the company did not pick up trash and left me a violation for $25. Minimal amount but when I called to dispute this the lady stated its not her fault a squirrel got into the bag...… not mine either! LOL not my biggest issues but still. To top it off, Friday was the last day of my lease, and due to the office closing early, I was required to turn my keys in at 12. ( I was notified of this 2 days prior to my move out day) Luckily I was already moved out and had cleaned the apartment, but to try and cut the lease short, granted only by 12 hours, left a bad taste and prompted this review. Now they are hassling me for returning parking stickers. Now i understand Austin is crazy and parking is an issue with a lot of apartments, but if you wanted to keep unauthorized vehicles out, you should probably fix the gate! While the apartment was nice, I do not recommend renting here. Unless this is your last resort, i'd look elsewhere."
"The worst apartment complex I've ever been in, just 3 days after I moved here my husband's car was vandalized in broad daylight the catalytic converter was stolen from the car, today August 25, 2023 it happened again but this time they broke the glass took the cash that I had, also my wallet with my personal documents and some batteries from my work, I also had problems with the staff here since they tried to remove me due to complaints from the neighbors below and they were giving me 3 days To get out of here it should be noted that the rent for the coming month had barely been paid, they told me that it was not their problem that I had to vacate in 3 days otherwise they would call the police, they were literally trying to steal the money that I had already paid for the month. Currently I have had many problems here and they have not given me any solution to anything and they simply say that it is not their fault that it is not their problem when clearly something is not right here, the police are here at all times. So if you don't want your car to be vandalized or they want to evict you for no logical reason I absolutely do not recommend that you move here, this has never happened to me anywhere else"
"Worst management ever. Every response to an issue brought up is extremely dismissive and patronizing, take a look at the responses to all the negative reviews here on google. Gates are hardly ever in working condition, the grounds are poorly kept, trash everywhere, huge potholes and sinkholes in the grass areas, and ZERO security or any effort to prevent any crime, whatsoever. The lights around the dog park have been out for at least 6 months and there are holes big enough in the dog park for any size human or dog to snap an ankle or leg if not paying attention. The complex itself is poorly lit, and the parking lot is an absolute NIGHTMARE. If anybody in charge had the most basic ability to do math, they would realize that the number of residents in this complex would require more parking for guests. Management literally has an excuse for everything. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to live here, the staff doesn’t care about anything but your rent check. Vehicles are constantly being broken into because there is ZERO effort to prevent any type of crime. Poor lighting, no cameras, and absolutely no security because the gates are always open and literally anybody can just come and go. ZERO STARS, DO NOT LIVE HERE."
"I ABSOLUTELY love my apartment. And I can actually say that for once. The apartment was upgraded and I ended up getting a great deal before the end of the month. My Leasing Consultant, Jorge Flores, is incredible. He ensured that every need from my renters insurance to any issues with my apartment were taken care of. Luckily, my apartment was much better than I expected. When I tell you everything was cleaned, sealed, and buffed, it was. I have not had any issues, I cannot hear my neighbors, and my apartment is so spacious and comfortable. It is insane how quiet it is considering the proximity to I 35. The neighborhood is great. I work less than 10 minutes away, and I love it easy access to anywhere in town. I notice the reviews about parking, and this is the only issue I have. You must have your guests sign in their vehicles in office. However, if they are closed, then you are kind of out of luck. I wish there were some way to change this, as all the apartments on Wells Branch have this sort of policy. Luckily, over the holidays, they were not towing any vehicles, so I am happy about that. In order to ensure you have a good parking spot you will have to purchase a garage for an additional $125. Otherwise, if you get home anytime after 7, you will possibly be hunting for the parking spot closest to your apartment.... that may not be very close. All in all, I love my apartment, price, amenities, location, and Jorge and Taavia in the office are great!"
