"Maintenance does not respond on time. Lots of bugs coming into the room from outside. Maintenance staff needs to be better."
"I had first a verbal talk(documented), then a warning(documented), then they call me for a final, that's when i was told that was a writeup. But to be honest I should not be fired like that, when I had my last write up, which they should have told me in the first place that the other 2 were write ups. When I was told that it was the last one I was shocked , so I asked to give me at least 2 weaks to find a job, and then after that time give my 2 weekend, but it didn't matter Iwas still let go, but after all the hard work I spending with this complex, every human makes mistakes, but my mistakes weren't meant to be, and not repeatable. It's impossible to have 100% of the residents happy. FELT LIKE REALLY WANTED TO GET RID OF ME. I literally work my self hard and I work hard to complete them all. That was not very appreciative. When I started at the company the was 41 work orders, and after what happened from what I just mention there was literally no work orders, 0, nada, when let go because I always made sure i finish them all. But i still want to say thank you to Lisa and Stephen for letting me work here at this property, THIS WAS A STEP TO GROW FOR SUCCESS THIS IS NOT A FAILURE FOR ME, and the time that i live here was great, I really loved the floor plan in which I lived, but unfortunately I could not stay because rent was going to be high, out of my budget so I had to move out. I didn't have extra $700 dollars every month to continue paying rent."
"I like the apartments for the most part, but apparently recently, I left my trash bag on my front porch too long (time frame it took me to wash my floors). I got a email saying next time it could result In a lease violation. Management said regardless of how long its outside. .......so if you move here just know that there are lots of ways they have come up with to give you a lease violation . They have something to say about your car, cars being broken into, restricted access to the pool you can't have a group of friends you can only have 2 people at a time. Each tenant has one arm band to give a guest."
"My son move in 8/26/23 his car was broken into twice already, both times a police report was done, according to the front office this type of thing happens everywhere at apartments. The back fence at The Oaks at Techridge has an opening where people come in from the outside ( per office staff not able to determine when the fence will be fix. ), people drive around looking at cars to brake into but per office staff, nothing can be done to help situation. Be aware if you move into this apartments your car may be broken into weekly. At night you may have people that come to your front door trying to get into your apartment, we are from a small town south of Austin, I was not aware this kind of thing happen all the time at apartments in Austin. We chose for my son to go to school in Austin versus Houston thinking Austin was safe, but according to the staff at The Oaks at Techridge that is not the case."
"I have been living here for 2 years . I am overall happy, which is recently why I renewed my lease . Maintenance requests are usually handled considering priority in a timely manner . Grounds are maintained . Apartments are comfortable. My biggest complaints is the customer service. One of the receptionists (wont name names for respect) is not very welcoming . Never smiles. Makes me feel like I’m bothering her when I go in. Also, I wasn’t recently informed by her that all transfer apartments have washer dryers in them. When I moved in that was not the case. After signing my new lease, I saw a washer/dryer in unit . I went into the office to discuss that I already have my own. The receptionist just repeated “they come with them now” as I tried to discuss, with a “I don’t know what to tell you” attitude. I asked for the manager . The assistant manager was very kind and understanding and helped me solve my problem quickly . I just wish the receptionist knew when the appropriate moment is to ask her manager to try and assist a long time tenant instead of making me feel like she had no solution. Lastly, I just got a call by the assistant manager asking why I haven’t turned in the keys yet, but I was told by the receptionist that I had the whole weekend and could turn them in Monday in email. I just got the keys yesterday at 3pm (Thurs). Things have been very inconsistent and have caused me unnecessary stress ."
