Hyde Park Court Apartments - North Campus

"Great place in a calm location just a 5 minute bus ride away from UT campus. Staff is nice and attentive. They are quick in resolving maintenance requests and always keep tenants informed."

"I loved my 2 years living at Hyde Park Court. The units are older and (like all old buildings) my units had its quirks and necessary repair calls. The management was fantastic and responsive. The apartments felt set away from West-Campus-craziness but was a 7 min drive from the university. I feel like you get what you pay for as far as Austin housing prices, and I would absolutely recommend living here as a student."

"This place is rather modest and has a rather unkempt dingy appearance from the outside. Why am I giving it 5 stars? Lived here for 6 years and the costs were cheap as well as great management and communucation services Furthermore, we always had power even during the winter storm outages, which constitute a huge plus. Overall great bang for your buck."

"Lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. The 2 bedroom unit is a great steal for both the location to campus, bus stops, and restaurants. It is also close enough to Central Market in case of a last minute dinner! Had a 2nd floor unit facing towards the parking lot, so never had problems with pests. Neighbors were quiet and respectful of space; never had any problems with security. Maintenance was always quick and usually came that day or the next. The only downfalls I would note is that the pool is not regularly cleaned, or at least it hadn't been this last summer. There were also random water shut-offs, which might have been more on the city's fault than the apartments themselves, but still annoying. Def. recommend to students that would prefer a more quiet area while still only being blocks away from West Campus (also Starbucks is right at the corner and you cant beat that)"

"I'm writing this review after having lived here for 2 years. The management is really good here and maintenance always arrives within a couple work days. While the units are a bit old, they don't hesitate to come fix or even replace appliances with entirely new ones if they happen to break! The location is also great as the campus shuttle is a minute walk down the half street while also being located near some good restaurants. HEB can be reached via a short bus ride as well. The area is also well lit at night and quite safe in my opinion, with minimal noise. I was quite glad to not encounter any pest problems during my stay either. I've heard of nightmare situations at other places in terms of moving out, but it was very straightforward and the deposit was returned without having to jump through hoops. Overall a great deal near campus!"
