"I lived at this property for two years from 2018-2020. I regretted living here and I believe that the rent charged is too high compared to the value of the apartment. There are plenty of other apartments in the area that I believe are better matches for value. As for pros and cons: Pros: 1. Good neighborhood, I always felt safe walking around. 2. Close to UT Campus, the grocery store, etc. 3. Plenty of parking. Cons: 1. Maintenance Issues were a constant problem (e.g. my apartment flooded repeatedly, my A/C broke, etc. and the maintenance team was largely ineffectual in resolving those issues). 2. The toilet would randomly scream. You have to turn off the toilet unless you are using it. 3. I saw plenty of cockroaches during my time there. Have a shoe ready. 4. Rents are probably too high and the realty company aggressively raises rents from year to year. In short, rent is major expense for the average person. It is important to make sure your money is getting its worth. Unfortunately, I do not believe that the value of this place meets its costs."

"I currently live in these apartments and will have lived in my unit for 2 years by the time my lease is up in 2018. Pros: The location great and it feels like a very safe neighborhood. There is always plenty of parking in the apartment lots and ample street parking for guests. 512 Living (formerly 512 Realty) manages these apartments and they are always available for maintenance or repairs. Cons: The management can be snooty sometimes and the office is run by random college kids that lack some social graces. 512 forces you to decide early on if you want to stay in your unit or leave because they do early pre-leasing. The building is old and there are tons of "water bugs" (american cockroaches) that infiltrate your unit. Overall, for the price and location I am pleased. I will not be renewing my lease in 2018 due to all the bugs."
