"Honestly, everything was good with my moving in but one exception. Before I go into my bad experience, I do want give a huge shout out to the leasing agents and everyone in the leasing office especially Montana Smith. They were so nice and helpful during my moving in; however, all that good experience was ruined when my car was towed the first night of parking because I parked in a reserved spot. Obviously, I’m taking full accountability for parking there; however, for someone new to the complex and not familiar with the parking structure there should be more signs around reserved parking instead of only on the parking floor. Literally, anyone can miss that since your car is covering it when parked. Other complex I’ve lived in usually have signs both on the floor and on the wall so when you park you can’t miss it. Additionally, I heard another persons car was towed 2 months prior from me and I’m sure it’s for a similar reason (unknowingly parking in reserved parking) For such a nice luxurious apartment a little extra on parking signs would go along way. So for that, I give this a 3 star :("
"I have consistently experienced the best residential treatment of my life living at Revl on Lamar. The staff are super friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, the maintenance guys Jacob and Luis who are very professional have always gotten things done quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue living at Revl on Lamar for a long while, and I strongly recommend anyone looking for housing in central Austin live here. I couldn’t be happier here!"
"The management team and mantiene are the best. Really responsive. The technicians were prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable when we had issues with the appliances. They quickly diagnosed the issues with both appliances and explained everything clearly to me, which I really appreciated. But what truly impressed me was his willingness to go the extra mile for the entire team. I’m happy that I chose Revl"
"Giving the property management company 5 stars because they are very kind, sweet and lovely to deal with. I haven’t had the pleasure of living here but I always visit and they don’t discriminate against anyone. Also always have a smile on their face and are happy to help. Keep doing you team. I hope one day I am able to live here"
"Loved my apartment here. Some issues kept this from being a great living experience overall however, such as: -pipes bursting in the winter -trash constantly in halls -towing company and car break ins -incredibly thin walls (you will hear your neighbor cough and go to the bathroom) My biggest issue was the way management handled my renewal. Here in Austin, the market rate for 1bedroom units has dropped about 20-30% in the past 6months. Even considering these factors, they still tried to raise my rent. When I asked about the market rate for my apartment, I was told it was about $1950. After I put in my notice to vacate, I went to look online and see my unit listed for $1690. Seems pretty dishonest of the property to do this, no? Anyway, decent apartments overall. Just don’t expect honesty from management here!"
