Bonnie Cafe

"Went last night for ayc crab legs and was turned away by 5pm 1hr into dinner service because the owner said he couldn't keep up. Always Very short staffed and not well managed. Food is good if ya can get there when they start service at 4 but by 5 they all ready don't too much and they were supposed to be open till 8pm. 3hrs left and they still had regular buffet but was not allowed to that either was told to leave too busy and didn't need anymore customers. Will not go back after owner told me that."

"The Bonnie Cafe in Nashville IL is very nice!! They were quick to great is and let us pick our own seats. They have wonderful buffet that my sister and husband enjoyed, and I had the waffle with bacon. Our server went above and beyond to make certain coffee was always warm and we had everything we needed. All the food was delicious. I would highly recommend The Bonnie Cafe for breakfast or lunch. They aren’t open for dinner."

"The atmosphere is very basic. However, the food and wait staff made up for that to me. Can't speak for everything on the menu, but the burger I had was straight out of my childhood. Just that simple burger isn't the healthiest, but you will enjoy it as a treat."

"Great little find on a road trip from IN back to CO. We were looking for a chain restaurant and saw this place. It looked inviting the grounds and parking lot were clean. Buffet was an option that you don't see often especially after COVID. We were met with a smile as soon as we hit the door and taken to our seat. Buffet looked great so why not try it. I was so surprised that each item I tasted from the pickled beets to the hot wings were really good. The husband and I probably between the two of us sampled everything they had to offer on the buffet and we were surprised it was all excellent. Asked the lady to cook a burger with cheese for our dog that was waiting in the car. She quickly delivered and we received our bill they gave us a discount which was a great surprise as well. Definitely will put this place on the list of future stops. Great job Bonnie's Cafe you definitely impressed."

"Small town cafe that's open 6 days a week. Food and service were both good! Fried chicken and mashed potatoes were very good. Buffet available as well as full menu."
