"To start with I got there a little after 2 in the afternoon so I understand the buffet has been warming for awhile. After looking at it I found meat loaf was out, mashed potatoes looked like it was a brick. Needless to say I op-ed to just do the salad bar which was just okay. Over the years I've made a point to stop 3 or 4 times a year when I was driving south but I'm not sure I'll bother stopping again"

"Great little truck stop!! I ate at the restaurant and had some spaghetti with meat sauce, it was very tasty! Although the young waitress asked if she could get me a drink, I said yes I’ll take sweet tea, 35 minutes later my delicious food came to the table. She came over and asked if I needed a drink and I said you asked me 35 mins ago I said sweet tea and she said ok. After dinner still no drink and she never checked on me again. Great little place, waitress sucked!"

"This gem of a diner claims world fame. If it is not, it sure does deserve world fame. Best dinner I have enjoyed which did not break the bank. I had the open roast beef with some coconut cream pie for desert. Great friendly atmosphere and good service with a smile. Highly recommend the stop if traveling through the area."

"Location: 5/5: Maybe a mile or less from the on/off ramps. Easy to get to, easy to leave. Enough parking. Ambiance: 2/5: There isn't one. The place is old. Biggest lunch spoon we have ever be given with a meal, maybe that was the niche... Value for $$: 2.5/5: Expensive for the quantity and expensive for the quality. Three people ate for $70 (at a truck stop??)...the Bubba burger, Patty Melt, little Nashville breakfast, cheese curd, and onion rings...with drinks. Cuisine: 3/5: The Bubba burger was over cooked and tasted that way, though the fries were tasty. The Patty Melt on white bread (bottom slice was very soggy) with old cheese tasted just as you would expect and the tater-tots were disappointing...cold, not crispy, and fell apart. However, my son said he loved his little Nashville breakfast...every bite! The cheese curd were very good, but the marinara sauce (which tasted, smelled, and looked like cocktail sauce) was not good. The onion rings were just okay...not great and not bad. Services: 4/5: One server for the five tables that were occupied in the entire restaurant while we were there. We did not get a lot of attention. Orders were taken, drinks were delivered, food was delivered, and one refill was served. That's it. Food took longer because the cook never started our meals after the appetizers were completed. Our server had to redirect the cook to start cooking our meals...which conversation we overheard, no recognition to the customer was made. Hygiene: 3/5: Hygiene: 3/5: Ummm...we usually drink water with our meals. This time we opted for lemonade because of that feeling you get when things may or may not be tiptop. Nevertheless, tables and chairs felt old, though they were clean. The server wanted to reclean our table because it was still dirty. Plates, cups, and utensils were all clean. Bathroom was clean enough. Recommend: 2/5: We will likely not be back."

"Real good food. I stopped in here during my national tour for my hiking YouTube channel "Beyond the Pavement" and I couldn't be happier. I had the fried chicken which comes with the salad and soup bar that was awesome. I also had a piece of chocolate pie to finish it off. Definitely coming back if I'm ever in the area"
