"Let's talk about the Parking situation here. Not only did my car get broken into when we're supposed to have "security" here but once I get my car back, i park in a parking spot with a valid parking permit and still get towed. Literally none of the parking spaces are clearly painted. And I had to pay 240$ to get my car back. They don’t have valid security here, to keep my car from being stolen or broken into. but they sure can take your money. Any chance that they get. Literally can’t even sleep at night without worrying. My car is going to get taken by thieves or the towing company for no reason. Save yourself the stress and move somewhere else"
"Easy move in and any of small maintenance issues were handled quickly. The neighborhood doesn’t portray the quiet lifestyle I am able to find here. It has been a wonderful stay so far! Highly recommended!"
"Very disappointed, I am a quiet tenant who has always paid on time. This apartment complex is always changing something and implementing something new... in trying to keep up and use the new app to pay rent, the app being so new and having to adjust caused me to be late for rent... I've never been late and in return I get charged 10% rent every month now on top of everything and charged $50 as well. There was no room for being gracious and understanding, just give us more money. My rent went from 793 to 1,015 in a blink of an eye. They will try to get whatever they can is my impression. Please dont move here, area is horrible, gunshots every night. Roach infested and black mold everywhere and the water is shut off all the time but I ALWAYS paid on time regardless. Office staff was of no help. I had a situation where they wanted to charge me extra money but somehow when I called hr that fee went away and was not needed anymore..."
"You know... I haven't given this place much thought in over a year, but since I have moved, it's effecting me again, and I feel I should comment on it. If I could leave a zero star rating, I would! I moved from another city, and was unable to actually tour the apartment I selected due to time constraint, but since it was within the same company as my previous one (Westdale) I figured everything would have been dandy! How wrong I was. Firstly, when I moved in - I wasn't alone, my aunt had come from Houston to help me move in, and I was given a pink piece of paper to prevent her truck from being towed - well, I wasn't told I had to bring the pink paper back, and was charged $35 for something they'd just throw away anyway. Then, I filled out the walkthrough sheet, detailing what was wrong with the apartment, and none of it was ever addressed. Ever. Part of what I complained about on that walkthrough sheet was that there was a jagged broken tile on the ground near the fireplace, later, I was told, "Just don't walk there." like... What? Fix the damn tile! Then... There are roaches everywhere... I was fortunate enough to check my entryway to discover a 1/2 inch gap between the metal mudguard/doorframe and the floor itself, allowing hot air, dirt, and bugs to enter the apartment... The apartment's maintenance man, who was very nice, was not efficient, as after he came to address the gap, left holes in the plumber's caulk he'd used to "seal" it. For the first 3 months of living there, I had problem with my hot water, and I had to call maintenance out maybe 3 times to fix the water heater. I was late on my rent, and within the day, I had an eviction notice on my door. I was told to go into my apartment by security one night, as I had just gotten home from work, and was scrolling through Facebook on my phone... Not normal, I paid to live there after all. The apartment's front staff didn't speak English well when I was there, so communication was difficult (and if they said they speak English, they lied.) I went on vacation out of the country, and over that vacation break, tried to pay my rent and I learned that the system was down for payments (so, I was late again), came back to the country on the 5th to an eviction notice on my door, again... On top of that, they had tacked on their late fee to which I refused to pay... And I told them straight out that I refused to pay it... They then tried to raise my rent price to include the missing late fee (which is totally, 100%, illegal), I asked the apartment managers numerous times for their superior's email, and was always ignored (eventually, I paid the amount), I found a woman's email (Kathy) and sent a long list to her, a woman named Karen (not even kidding), who was maybe still is the "regional director" ended up calling me and after I explained my situation with her, she argued back and ended up actually yelling over my voice to be heard, and all I was asking for was to be released from my lease amicably... They warped my payment into compliance, and all I was doing was trying to not have an eviction on my record... Well, I may as well have one, because... After leaving the unit, because like hell would I stay there after that fiasco, they filed me as a broken lease - since I wasn't going to pay almost $1,900 to get out of the hell hole that this place is. I could only find one photo of the apartment, because they're not anything you want to document... And... It's the damned broken tile picture, look how they cut the laminated floor to fit the piece instead of REPLACING THE TILE."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE the apartments are roach infested and the front staff and management is always rude! The apartment would have an exterminator once a month but, that would not help at all! The 30+ year old cabinets are infested with roaches! I was walking my dog out so he could go to the bathroom late at night before i went to bed and the security officer told me its policy that I can not be out past curfew!? Allegedly its a smoking free apartment complex but most tenants smoke and don’t really care. They will also find any excuse to tow your car!!! Glad I left as soon as possible, Im sure they wont give me back my deposit since they would charge a fee’s for EVERYTHING!"
