"I've lived here for a while now. Moving is a pain for me and I refuse to do it. People always complain about the area. Nothing wrong here, just very busy and diversified, is all. The Maintenance and office staff have always treated me with respect and courtesy. More recently, an hour ago, Jaino fixed a water leak, water all over the floor. He did this in an efficient and most expeditious manner. It was in fact an emergency. Thank you 502 N staff..."

"I was a bit unsure at first because of what people say about the area(you have to see for yourself and not listen to what people say), but took the tour and looked around and weighed out the pros and cons and this place is a hidden gem in the middle of North Austin! This place has what you need to be in the comfort of your new place you want to call home! If you have dogs they have a dog park to take your dogs and let them loose and play. The office staff is super attentive and very nice! The rooms inside the apartments are super spacious and nice! Downtown is not to far away when you want to go out on the town and meet up with friends for drinks. Domain is not to far away for some retail therapy and grocery store’s are nothing but a few short blocks away! All within close reach! I have lived here for two years and so far I have had no issues with management, office staff or neighbors. Any time I need anything done in my apartment it is done within a reasonable time frame. If not the same day the very next day! If you are looking for a place to call home please make an appointment to come by and take a look and be my neighbor!"

"My sister lives there and the AC in her unit is always breaking and the maintenance crew does not respond to her ongoing requests to fix it. Takes them months to answer the phone in the front office they are never available. There is also mold growing in her bathroom ceiling that they say she can wipe off with bleach? Go spend your money on apartments that are actually worth it and don't waste your time here."

"Rent is relatively low for Austin, the place is cleaner and safer than one would (or at least I did) expect for the surrounding neighborhood, and the office staff is friendly. Not 5 stars because: 1) Understaffed maintenance. Critical repairs (broken windows, AC problems, etc) happen almost immediately. Non-critical repairs, though, can take months to complete. 2) They keep the price low by hiring lowest bid contractors. So it's not as pretty as it could be; stuff like paint on the floors because they didn't bother to tape the baseboards, and approximately 8000 layers of paint on damn near everything. 3) Understaffed office. Expect to wait when you need to talk with them. Overall, this has been an ok to good experience. I'd rate 3.5 stars if I could. Update: Bumped to 4 stars. Office is more fully staffed, and the staff is more competen. They are much more on top of things overall. Maintenance is also more fully staffed; all repairs are scheduled and completed much more quickly. Remodeling is still shoddy, and enforcement of the parking permit system is...inconsistent. Those are my only complaints at this time, and they aren't very pressing. Solid 4 stars."
