"Don’t live here. I’d give them negative stars if I could I’ve had a leak in my roof for YEARS. They come and paint over it and don’t fix the problem. The leak is in my bedroom and I wake up every morning feeling like crap and not being able to breathe because there is mold all over the wall. This apartment is also dirty all around the complex. People play loud music all through out the night. Do yourself a favor and go to a different apartment. Management is really rude and will avoid talking to you. Update: now they are charging us for “things” like the sewer back in October 2023. Which is crazy considering it is February 14th and we pay our rent every month. The full amount even with all their crazy service fees and now they notice the water from October 2023. These people are thieves. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I call the office all the time and no one ever answers. I can’t wait to get out of this place. This complex used to be great under the first management company but now it is trashed."
"When I moved in 2019, they were very safe, Well kept, communication between office and maintenance in good order. Pools kept very clean. Doorways, parking lots very clean, and after lawn care and every trash pick up they always had people cleaning the ground. In 2020 to 2023 they got worse each year. And wen through 3 owners and 3 changes of office. By the time I left on 2023 it was like being in a ghetto. Police there every day many times a day, neighbors trashy and loud music lasting all night, smoke everywhere, unpatented children, no more walking and running at night as they have too many people looking like they want to rob you. Trash all over everywhere all the time. Noone cares if your maintenance issues don't get resolved. In 2022 from June to Sept I sent 45 emails and all of them no return calls and no management to talk to. The only person there that was nay help was a woman named Lovely. She was great and really tried the maintenance staff is horrible and the staff in the office is terrible to them. The went from the best place I ever lived to the worst from 2019 to 2023. Aso they charged me wrong on my move it costs. Admitted they charged me wrong and owed me money and they never sent the money. They won't return my calls and messages. The also have issues of mold growing in most apartments."
"I love the colors and finishes in the apartments. Wall colors are modern and will work with just about any colors. The fitness center has everything I need to be successful with my new year's resolutions! There are also lots of outdoor areas where you can get a good workout too. Office staff is very nice and helpful."
"I toured today and am very impressed with the amenities they offer not to mention the customer service. The pool is beautiful and it’s January! The District is also in the perfect location for access to everything!"
"I am compelled to share my recent experience with The District to shed light on the challenges I have faced particularly given the unique circumstances of having a small baby. As a seven-year tenant, I've been disheartened by the sudden changes and lack of customer service. My move-in, initially scheduled for the 31st, was postponed to the January 2nd To my dismay, the apartment was far from ready, reflecting poorly on the management's commitment to their promises. Moreover, reaching maintenance is an ongoing struggle, with requests taking months to address, and calls consistently going unanswered. Despite my extensive preparations, including hiring movers, transferring utilities, and taking a week off work, the abrupt change in move-in dates disrupted my plans significantly. This lack of communication and consideration has been a source of great frustration. Adding to the dissatisfaction is the unexpected increase in the quoted rent from $1780 to $1880 when I attempted to sign the lease. As a long-time tenant, this inconsistency is both surprising and disappointing. I hope for a reconsideration of the rental rate, seeking compensation or a discounted price to align with the initially quoted amount. The urgency to vacate my current apartment by the 31st due to a new tenant moving in on the 8th has added further stress to an already challenging situation. I sincerely hope that the district addresses these concerns promptly, ensuring a more positive experience for tenants in the future."
