"My company set me up here for a month of corporate furnished housing and I loved it here and wished they had availability for when the month was over. Christine was super friendly and helpful to me and my puppy Ollie and he was always excited to see her! She even gave him treats! Staff was always helpful to schedule cleaning or get packages. Facility was super clean and the gym and pool were amazing too. Never had an issue finding parking. The furnished apartment had great furniture, cookware, and silverware. The surrounding neighborhood was great to walk my puppy. Very safe and lots of dogs walking around. Definitely stay here if you’re looking for a great place to live."
"I was in in a lovely furnished 1 bedroom apartment at AVE Austin for a month and a half as part of corporate relocation. Had a terrific time at this place- the apartment is run very well by the team under Jerry Sam (the GM) and very well maintained. Everyone is quite friendly and I need to particularly call out Arielle, part of the leasing team at the front-office. She was quite helpful when I moved in with my huge suitcases and came all the way to my apartment rolling one of the big ones. I had a routine almost every day of having a cup of beverage (usually Vanilla latte) from the coffee vending machine at around 4-5pm and striking up conversations with Arielle and Jerry Sam. Beyond a point, I was more looking forwarding to chatting with these lovely 2 people more than the coffee. Jerry -the GM is very genuine and I will never forget the conversations we have had on culture, family etc. Coming to the advantages of this apartment, it has many. 1) Location: it is in a lovely residential area which is quite safe to hang out in the night too. There is a miniature downtown like area at 7 minute walk where 99 ranchsupermarket, eateries, sushi bars and related shops is situated. One can easily buy groceries and grab a quick bite from shops there. 2) Safety: I have a habit of walking in the night- there have been multiple times when I have walked at 10pm, 11 pm in the residential areas behind the apartment (pantherpaw, wildcat avenues) and it is well lit and very safe ( i will not advise walking in the not-so-well lit areas towards the CREST VIEW rail metro station though at the night though). In the evening, I will recommend going to a huge football ground in the residential area behind- one can see loads of kids getting trained etc and there is a great breeze which usually flows. 3) Connectivity: The Crest-view metro station is at a 5 minute walk and one can easily go to the domain or downtown taking a train. One can also catch buses from the umpteen bus-stops or the Crest View bus yard. The North Lamar transit centre for Capital metro buses is not too far away too. 4) Car-Parking: AVE Austin has a covered multi-level car parking and there is an entrance to different floors through the car parking. This is very useful especially one has loads of things"
"Got a chance to stay at Ave North Lamar location for 30 days. Had a furnished apartment as part of a corporate relocation and I want to say that everything was just too good. The staff at the leasing office was very nice and friendly. The apartment was nicely setup with all the cookware and tools needed to cook. The apartment is located in central Austin area and makes it perfect for someone who works in either the north Austin area or the south Austin area. I loved the coffee/latte machine in the leasing office during the times it was open, they do have printers which helped me a couple of times. In terms of safety, although location looks like it is in a not so safe area, we didn’t feel unsafe and a lot of people take their pets for a walk around the area all the time as well. One thing that I was disappointed about staying here is that apartment was freezing cold and the heater was not working in the master bedroom. We complained a couple of times and maintenance tried fixing it but couldn’t. When they couldn’t fix it they told us they would send a portable heater but it never turned up for sure. Another thing about the apartment is that they send house keeping only once in 2 weeks and for someone who would have moved in temporarily from a different city will be hard to keep the house clean. They should definitely change the housekeeping schedule from 2 weeks to every week like other homestay locations. Overall, it was a lovely stay at this place and I will definitely highly recommend someone who is moving into Austin area."
"Everything was amazing. I loved this apartment. I had 30 days of a furnished apartment as part of a corporate relocation. From the staff at the leasing office, to the details of how nicely the cooking tools were placed in the drawers, I couldn't have asked for a better welcome to Austin. I loved the coffee/latte machine in the leasing office during the times it was open, the conference room I could use to take meetings, and the pool view outside the balcony. I also felt very safe there during a freeze (not quite winter storm Uri but still freezing temperatures). They had instructions to let the water drip from the faucets and keep the heat on posted in the garage as well as emailed. I can definitely see what some reviewers were talking about with security concerns because this place does face a smoke shop, but I didn't see anything suspicious going on. People still seem secure enough to walk their dogs all hours of the day around the apartment building. The location is decently close by to what I decided to call Little Korea, but it's got a lot more than Korean food. There's a kpop merch shop, a few Korean restaurants, a boba tea shop, and a Daiso Japan all in one shopping center. Overall, I wouldn't say anything is really walking distance that I wanted to walk to. The road it's on is super busy even with a protected turning lane, so I had to learn to drive down one street past Sugaree to be able to turn left on Lamar with a protected green light to make it easier on myself."
"Key features: Key fobs, LuxerOne Package Delivery Room, Pool + Gym, enclosed parking garage, front-loading washer and dryer, large hallways, trash chute. We’ve enjoyed living here. The building is new and has features that you don't see everywhere, especially the washer/dryer included! The amenities and features are gorgeous. Shout out to Elizabeth who helped us choose the perfect apartment! She brought us through five different units to see all the different unique features of both buildings. Her patience and professionalism were an integral part in our decision to sign with Magnolia. Edited to change review as it was for The original building name of Magnolia of Crestview and not Ave North Lamar. Some additional feedback: we are moving out due to $100 price increase on rent. When we looked at our unit online, it was less $$ for a new resident. The transition from the original owner to the new owners was ROUGH but I feel they have recovered well. Jurisam is very helpful and the office go to. There were some changes that irked me, like charging $50 for being locked out but the door key is a key fob so there is no way to leave your door unlocked. The resident events are a good idea except for when they showed Jaws on a Sunday night until 11pm (breaking their own curfew rule for the pool). The complex itself is nice but the area isn’t. We ran into a lot of security issues with the package room being visible from Lamar itself. Like another reviewer said, this isn’t the complex’s fault but is something you should be aware of. There is a nice neighborhood behind the complex which I feel safe walking at night in with my dog. This is a great place to live for a year or so, as long as you are ok with potential safety concerns. I loved the time we had at the complex for the most part!"
