We understand it is a older property and there is only so much you can do but it seems the office is running residents away"

"most disgusting and poorly managed apartment i’ve ever lived in. i broke my lease just to escape. i cannot put into words how bad the bug infestation is in this complex. it doesn’t matter how much you clean or use pesticides, they crawl in through all of the cracks in the ceiling, floor, beneath countertops… everywhere. i tried for months to get rid of the infestation before giving up and moving. pest control doesn’t do a thing and you have to pay extra if you want them to treat your apartment, which is ultimately pointless because the bugs just keep coming in. cockroaches and beetles everywhere, all the time. you will not feel comfortable in your own home if you live here. they continuously raise rent while offering absolutely nothing in return. maintenance issues are also a constant problem, i have not had a working toilet the entire year and a half i lived here for example. this place is just disgusting in every way imaginable and i strongly suspect the good reviews must be faked. please save yourself the headache and find another apartment."

"Such a great place to live!!! Lori is the best and Willie is the coolest. Such an amazing staff I really appreciate everything they do. The location is tucked away and quiet. Everyone here is chill and respectful to one another."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE. Please listen to the reviews, this is the worst complex ever. They unlawfully tow vehicles, my car has been towed along with 2 of my friends in just the last month. There is quite literally no visitor or legal street parking for miles around, so you can NOT have guests over if they have a car. They WILL be towed even if they don’t stay overnight. Living here is living in constant stress, please save your mental and financial health and go rent somewhere else."

"I moved from a different state to texas and was originally slightly disappointed with the brook (units are dated, but very cheap) and I left it behind earlier this year for a more expensive, "nicer" apartment near my work. Well, I have to say especially after dealing with this totally awful new property management, that I wish I had never left the Brook. Yes, it's old. Yes, there are bugs because a creek is right there. However, it's cheap, the pool is nice, the property management team is always timely in their responses, and my A/C and water never shut off or stopped working once. The property managers are also generally very nice and professional."
