Cascade Apartments

"Have been here for a couple years and management seem to get worse and worse. I had to move out of my unit due to a 8 month long leak that maintenance worked on for months and still couldn’t fix. One of the leaks ended up rusting the entire tub and I gave up and asked for a different unit because nothing was going to fix it. The only option was to move to a larger unit which was a lot more expensive with no discount even though it’s on them that the u it was no longer livable. There was also a huge rodent problem which seems to be infesting all the buildings because it is also a huge problem in my new current unit. There is untreated mold present in most room vents. New management have been rude and unresponsive."

"I'm a local realtor and level 3 security guard . I recently moved into The Cascades apts . I have had zero issues with the apt and the property . I'm in and out late at night and early in the a.m and haven't had any negative experiences . I also have a large dog that seems to be enjoying the new place . My main point of contact has been with the asst manager Drew ,he was awesome and handled everything perfectly . The rest of the staff that I have had interactions with have been great ."

"Originally I was super excited to move into this complex. And I originally wrote a nicer review but I had to delete it after living here for the couple of months I’ve been here. There was a promise of a months free rent on move in that I never received. Called the office and never heard anything per usual and since the day I moved in, the unit has been riddled with roaches everywhere. Pest control has come once but looks like there are several gaps between the trim. Almost as if they rushed through the remodel i assume. I kill and clean up 20-25 roaches daily and that’s with a super clean apartment. I can only imagine if my apartment was dirty. The ventilation is also terrible. Weird smells coming from other units. I also have a friend who recently moved in and lives at this complex and he’s having the same roach issue. All I know is I don’t recommend anyone move into this roach infested complex. My last apartment was a much older apartment and i never saw bugs. I literally only order take out right now cause cooking in this kitchen grosses me out so much. In conclusion this is the one and only lease I’ll be signing here till I find something with better business practices and less roaches."

"1 star is honestly too generous... What an absolute nightmare dealing with the management and maintenance. Desiree is probably one of the dumbest people I've ever encountered, and that is saying something. When I applied in early May I was told the unit would be ready by the end of the month. I went by the day before I was supposed to move in as I had still not heard anything back about my lease. Come to find out the apartment was still trashed meaning it sat and festered for at least a few weeks. Nothing for the make ready had been complete and once I moved in there was people in and out of the apartment for the next few days and still nothing had actually been accomplished. There was still trash from the previous tennants I wound up throwing out myslef. The first night I actually spent there I noticed the apartment was infested with bed bugs, so I am very greatful I didn't unpack any of my belongings. The parking lot also fills up at night with car campers and is not a safe environment after dark. I reached out to management right away who replied only with " we appreciate your patience... " needless to say I moved out immediately and have since reached out multiple times about returning part of $2000 in deposits and rent I paid with out any form of response. Considering their incompetence has now displaced my dog and myself I would recommend staying away from this complex at all cost."
