"Been living here for a little over a year now and just renewed my lease, the new management has been awesome, it’s definitely a noticeable difference. They have a lot of work to do to make this “older” complex up-to-date but you can tell they’re doing all they can! I also love the location—you’re less than 5 min away from HEB plus, and close to great local activities, parks, restaurants. The new property manager is also very involved and actually follows through on asks. The last owner and office staff had ZERO communication with me and would refuse to take my calls, emails or were never there in person so this level of involvement is a much needed breath of fresh air. I haven’t experienced the new maintenance team yet but I often see them tidying up the property in the morning when I leave for work. Keep up the great work!"

"Yes, the property is going through some much-needed changes, but I must give praise where it should be given. The new property manager, Janel Patterson, has really shown a significant positive change from previous management. She has made it a priority to check in with me about my maintenance repairs each step of the way and kept me updated on the next steps. Having her new leadership really makes me proud to call the Patten home! Thank you Janel for putting your residents first!"

"Laundry mat has not worked for years. Does not have a gym. Have had things stolen from my balcony. And buildings are falling apart on their own. This is now Patten West."

"I had a rather disappointing experience with this apartment complex, as I felt that they mishandled my application process. Despite paying the application fee, my movement date was delayed and I was subsequently ghosted by management. Upon visiting the leasing office in person for an update, I was informed by Jennifer, the manager, that my application had been rejected by management, a piece of information that had not been conveyed to me earlier. Adding to my frustration, Jennifer proposed an alternate apartment (B2 instead of the anticipated B3) without adjusting the price accordingly. Moreover, her promise to send over the new lease agreement for this substitute apartment via email was never fulfilled. In light of my experience, I would caution potential tenants about the potential for miscommunication that I encountered here. The management seemed evasive, which resulted in three weeks of wasted time. Moreover, once you do secure a lease, be prepared for additional monthly amenity fees. In my opinion, you could find better value for your money elsewhere."

"I have been trying to get my deposit since August 2022 and it is now almost March 2023. I read reviews about people experiencing the same and I thought oh won’t happen to me and it has. Living at these apartments was the worst decision I have ever made. They also got spray paint on my car from when they were redoing the complex and painting the car ports, which is another issue I’ve been trying to get resolved since August 2022!! So many calls and emails to the managers and they flat out ignore me. Jennifer and Ashley refuse to fix the problem or help me at all. When I call “they’re not in the office” and I’ll call daily so I know I’m being ignored. I’ve been trying to put the nightmare that is living at this complex behind me and I can’t with these unresolved issues. Please don’t make the same mistake I did by living here. It was horrible."
