"Great apartment complex, well maintained and new manager has really stepped up. The newly renovated apartments look stellar and are priced well relative to other apartments in the area. Also, Shoal Creek has a great community, people hang out grilling, tend to the landscaping (bc they want to and enjoy it) and the pool is nice in the Texas Summer. Love where you live"

"I just moved out of these apartments, and I am going to miss living here. The team they have working at this place is awesome. The complex is older, but the maintenance team kept this place looking beautiful and clean, it seriously looks like beautiful backyard, green grass, pretty landscaping, hedges, and a gazebo. The apartments have a great layout too! I am going to miss how much storage the apartments have. The downsides, are that the apartments are not energy efficient and that the finishes in the are very cheap. I lived here for 2 years, and my electric bills were astronomical, it was not unusual for me to pay $60-160.00 a month, and I kept my apartment around 68-70 degrees during the winter and 77-78 during the summer. Last August, my bill was more than $300.00. When I voiced my concerns about a possible issue with my ac unit, they worked quickly to get someone out to my apartment. There is an eclectic group of people who call this place home, and everyone I met was very friendly and were great neighbors. Robin Turner the property supervisor at SCN knows what she is doing and does a superb job! During the holidays, each person receives handwritten cards and a small gift. They have done a great job making this place feel like a little neighborhood rather than an apartment complex."
