"We've been taking our kids to CPG, and specifically Dr. Treybig for 18 years now. She and the other doctors we occasionally see have all be great. In my opinion, they get 5+ starts. My low rating is due to more to the after care and follow up by the office when such is required....i.e. referals, results, etc. Something appears to have changed. In the past, the office was very responsive. Over the last 2 months during multiple visits, we've had to make several calls to check on status where follow up is required. My hope is that, first off, the office is aware of the degradation, and second, that steps are being taken to address the decline in service"
"We've been with this practice since my 1st was born almost 13yrs ago. We've only had 2 dr this entire time with our 4 littles! Sad to see the latest Dr- Dr.wood go! I'm torn by either having to choose a new practice or risk waiting for a new one. Dr.Kibler and Daniel woods were great by far! Over the decade the office had kind of fallen apart with its age that's the reason I feel its time to live on since our Drs aren't there anymore, otherwise great location and staff"
"If there was zero star, I would like to pick up the one. the worst experience I ever had with this place. we were clearly advised by the nurse on April about the last shots for my kids. now when I tried to call them to make the appointment, they denied there was such a thing and told us we have to let the school nurse to call them directly. the hotline operator is okay, but the nurse just hang up the call and had no patience. I fully understand they are busy, but at least the attitude should be something different.I felt really upset about it."
"We just had to get on new insurance that our usual pediatrician doesn't take. I had to find a new one because my son was sick. We found Capital and they are close to home. They scheduled us in and the usual Dr wasn't taking new clients. But the receptionist made a mistake and scheduled us anyway. Instead of calling us and cancelling, they saw us anyway because it was their mistake. I appreciated the ownership and honesty and the fact that we were still seen. We discussed forward treatment and how we would handle it and left with a solution to my son's issues. Everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. Dr. Ma was direct and funny. My son and I really liked her. Thanks for the help!"
"I would not recommend Dr. MA. From day one Dr. Ma and her nurses have made me feel like an idiot for every question I have tried to ask about my son. I tried to explain how I was feeding my baby when he started baby food and she turned around interrupted me and informed me that's not what she asked. I still have not been able to ask I've had to ask friends and family for advice cause I can't talk to my son's doctor without being treated like a idiot. Yesterday I called the clinic and informed them my son got sick after the flu shot. I was able to keep the fever down and was wondering because it is the flu shot is this something that will pass or should I have him seen right away I was unable to make it to that clinic that day cause I was not in Austin but I could have easily takin him to a ER or if his fever stays down can I take him the next day to his Dr. The nurse that called me back confronted me right away and tried to tell me he needs to be seen today cause he has not been to the doctor in along time. Instead of looking at the schedule were she would have seen he was just in there last week and was up for his 9 mths checkup next week she would have known that he has been seen but instead she was very rude and confrontational and made me feel like I was being a bad mother. I have many more complaints but to much to type. I held on there for 9 mths cause I wanted my son to have the same Dr from birth. I thought it would get better but it's only got worse I don't know why they disliked me so much but I felt the tension at every Dr appt. I never got loud with them or confronted them I used my manners and was respectful that's why I'm a little shocked from day one they have been rude to me. I finally had to switch my son's doctor."
