"I have been trying for weeks to get my security deposit back from Blueground for the apt I rented in Austin, Texas. Apartment was nice, but chasing them for your security deposit is no fun. So I would not rent from then again."

"An absolute, downright NIGHTMARE. I arrived to an apartment to find the bathroom and kitchen completely unclean- public hairs, dirty footprints in the shower, literal bread in the kitchen sink. Every single dish I pull out is dirty, the towels are dirty. I had to spend my first day here on my hands and knees cleaning. No broom, no ability to clean the space while I am here for several months in a furnished apt. The staff responds within 4-8 hours for any given request or maintenance issue- my apt has black mold and an actively leaking water system that is still not resolved. I am unable to receive my packages that were delivered today because I do not have access to their Luxor One, something they kept from me until I was already moved in, and have to send proof of my package to blueground then wait until Blueground gives me an access code to receive my own mail because the building "cant speak to me bc my name isnt on the lease, Blueground is" despite it being my legal mail. The building staff says everything-maintenance, mail, has to go through Blueground, and then Blueground contacts them and then contacts me. I did this to avoid the lack of accountability that can happen with Airbnb only to have non stop problems here with cleaning, mold, access to mail, access to the parking garage, lack of info during a major storm/power outage, misinformation about everything other than apt photos."

"My wife, dog and I stayed here for 2 months and enjoyed it. We both worked fully remotely with one person at the small kitchen table and the other at the desk. It was a bit tight on space for the three of us but thankfully we're good in close quarters. The internet speed was great for two remote working professionals even with video calls. The in complex gym is rather good so I cancelled my Planet Fitness membership and solely used their gym. Package delivery is seamless with the package lockers by the front office. Parking is gated and secure. This is located on a major road so anytime we took our dog out there was lots of car noise and traffic which wasn't enjoyable but that's what you get for being so close to down town. You're in easy walking distance to the trails along the Colorado River, which we used multiple times a week as well as nearby parks. This unit is on the inside of the complex so it's not overlooking the street which is good for blocking most noise. The bedroom is in the interior of the unit with no windows so it's super dark (I slept the best ever here with the darkness and scheduled air conditioning with the Nest Thermostat)."
