"The units are old but the property manager is very responsive. Units are being updated and maintenance is performed right away. Management communicates frequently with residents and follows up on requests."
"Horrible experience with management. Manager is rude with a horrible attitude so is the assistant. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Lived here for years not a good experience ever. Only reason staying here is price of rent.! Again terrible"
"I have lived at Ranchstone for about a year now and I absolutely love it here. The leasing staff is awesome and responds to maintenance requests thoroughly. The area is beautiful as well as pleasant neighbors. The unit is spacious for the price and very well kept. My kids love it here and have grown accustomed to playing outside because in our old area they could not because of the busy street we lived on. Everything from landscaping to pest control and anything handled by the staff here to make my family living here more pleasant is awesome. I am not planning on leaving here anytime soon."
"I went to take a tour today and it didn't take very long for me to determine this was not a place that I wanted to call home. I made an appointment to view their model and as I walked in, I noticed peeling paint on virtually every house on the street. Additionally the entryway to the model home was filthy and covered in mildew. Inside, it was a nothing more than a pathetically poor refresh of a dated apartment. Oh, and did I forget to mention the model unit had paint splatters on the fake wood laminate floors and cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling? Take a look at the paint job around the stove. (See pic) So just seeing this tells me a lot. If management is OK with presenting this as their MODEL UNIT, how anxious and dedicated will they be to really take care of any issues I might have in my unit? As you do one thing, you'll do everything. Sorry. NO THANKS."
"Do yourself a favor and DO NOT rent a home from Ranchstone Garden Homes. AND DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS - CHECK YELP, THEY ARE MUCH MORE ACCURATE!!! These units may look nice at first glance, but I promise you, these people are crooks. I lived there for over 2 years and problems continually got worse over time. The amount of maintenance issues and admin turnover I had to deal with is enough to fill a novel. I kept signing a lease because 1. the cost of moving is very high 2. the location was convenient to my office and 3. I was continuously told these issues would improve but they never did. I was finally told I could break my lease a few months early, but was then told it didn't count because the office admin who gave me that guarantee didn't have that authority. My complaints were basically passed around like a hot potato. At one point I spoke with the corporate office but it made no difference. Over time I got to know other residents who had been there longer and came to find out this place has been going downhill for a very long time. One poor elderly man had signed an extended lease and said he could never get maintenance to come help him - even when his AC went out in July. This is the same summer my place flooded and it took MONTHS for them to get it fixed. It was a nightmare. I had to take time off work, purchase repair items myself and deal with the mess and additional bugs all by myself before they (kind of) fixed it. Every time I thought we had a good maintenance person or manager in the respective roles, they ended up leaving. A couple maintenance workers I spoke with admitted there were so many issues right off the bat that had not been previously handled and they were immediately overwhelmed. ALSO I eventually had a certified company test for mold, they said it was one of the worst cases they had seen. It was everywhere. When I informed the complex of this I was told "mold is in every home" and that those results "didn't count" because they did not hire the company themselves. Like why would I trust them to do that after all I had been through? ***SOOO BOTTOM LINE -- If you enjoy floods, bugs, constant AC problems in the heat of summer, staff turnover, overpriced rent and very high amounts of mold, than this place is perfect for your family.*** Oh and if Shara is still there, I hope you like SNAKES too!!"
