"The place is not good! The management sucks and the tenants are nasty. I’ve been out of town and received a lease violation. So people make bad faith allegations and nothing ever works. This is the definition of false advertisement!! Save your money. There’s been car thefts break-ins to storage units, I’ve had over 6 packages taken because the mailroom is outside the gate. Overall not a safe or secure place. They tried to delete this review as well but I just posted it again. Terrible place."
"I’ve been recommending this complex to my friends. This is my favorite place I’ve ever lived. The big pros: - spacious and airy. There’s SO much natural light and as an artist I’m so thankful. It’s the first place I’ve been in where I feel like I can ACTUALLY see the details and colors in my work while working on them. There are skylights in my unit so I’m constantly walking into a room to “turn off a light” until I realize it’s just the skylight lol. - storage storage storage EVERYWHERE. there’s so much space for me to place and keep things and I have a ton of wall space for artwork and photos. My stairwell is my favorite place in the whole apartment because it features my favorite piece. - valet trash. I’ve been in places where valet trash can be nitpicky and unreliable but the valet trash team here is SO good. - super secure. My car is in gated parking that can only be accessed by my gate key. That being said, I love that there is spacious parking for my friends to visit because I love having people over. People have to be buzzed in to access the building AND specific floor so I feel really safe here. - quiet. I have zero complaints about noise. Sometimes you can hear people in the hallway but honestly the people in the community are pretty calm. - maintenance. When we put in a request to reconnect the remote control to our ceiling fans they showed up pretty quickly. Obviously not a high priority request but they came in a day or two. - the leasing office is very nice and super communicative. We get text message updates about anything important. - 30ish minutes from downtown during rush hour. I work pretty close to the Capitol building and some mornings I can get to my office in 20 minutes depending on when I leave. I feel like I’m perfectly located between my usual places in north Austin that I need to get to and my art and work places in downtown/south Austin. - affordable. I’m paying less here than I was for the house I was originally renting and it’s not only in perfect condition but it’s WAY more spacious. I’m not even using all the storage space. My friends are typically very shocked when I tell them how much I’m paying for the unit because it looks so nice. The photos don’t do it justice. Con: Literally my only complaint which is not a big deal is that sometimes getting deliveries and packages is not ideal. I have some deliveries that are only door step deliveries so if I don’t answer my phone to buzz them up in time I may have to wait another day. Sometimes the Amazon lockers get full and the delivery drivers can’t successfully deliver my package but the leasing office has started taking them when there’s overflow to keep them safe and I appreciate that a lot. I will likely just get a P.O. Box to make this easier for myself but I will probably be living here forever until we’re ready to buy a house. - no dedicated pantry space but I’m not a major foodie so I have a minimal amount of things I cook with so I can use the cabinets for pantry space. I’m not even using all my kitchen cabinet space. There’s also storage under my stairwell so I can easily convert that space into a food pantry too. (There’s no elevator but the stairwells in the building have shallow steps so you don’t die going up them.)"
"AVOID THIS PLACE. In 6 months of living here, the parking security gate has worked for about 3 weeks, packages are stolen all the time from Amazon because they let their mailroom completely open to the street, but it's protected by a gate from the inside lol. Literally someone backed into a parking space and stole 20+ packages and just drove off. Had a random pool party at 2 AM even though pool closes at 10 PM. The worst aspect of living here is if you live on the second floor as I do, you literally hear every movement the upstairs neighbor makes because the apartment was built so cheap. They look nice, but they are not. To pay this much to live so far away from everything is a terrible idea, and you should just completely avoid this dump."
"Issues/review: Constant security issues with parking garage gates or some doors not working properly. As a result, vandalism (in pics) occurs and packages are stolen. It will be your responsibility to make sure medium to large packages aren't stolen since the package/mail area is in a public area and directly delivered to you. Hallway floors/areas can/will remain dirty for weeks or for months at a time (see pics). Note that the swimming pool will always have some leaves or bugs in it since it is surrounded by trees and plants. I once found a frog in the pool (in pic) Update: Charlotte resolved some of these issues quickly and said that she would try to stop these issues from happening. Unfortunately, after a transparent and good conversation with Charlotte, it seems like I will be seeing these issues again due to only short term solutions being implemented by the apartment along with push back from apartment policies for these issues."
"Avoid Aspire North Austin I lived at Aspire North Austin for two years, and it was a nightmare. The apartment complex is poorly constructed and poorly maintained. I had multiple problems with flooding, burst pipes, and mold. The property management company was unresponsive and unhelpful. I would not recommend living at Aspire North Austin to anyone. Here are some of the specific problems I had: Flooding: My apartment flooded three times during my two years of living there. The first time, the flooding was caused by a heavy rain. The second time, the flooding was caused by a burst pipe in the apartment above me. The third time, the flooding was caused by a problem with the complex's drainage system. Burst pipes: My apartment had problems two burst pipes during my two years of living there, none inside my apartment. The first time, the burst pipe caused water damage to my apartment from the apartment above mine. The second time, the burst pipe caused water damage to my apartment from the storage closet next to me. Mold: I had a mold problem in my apartment for several months. The mold was caused by the flooding and the burst pipes. The property management company was slow to respond to my requests for help with the mold problem. Theft: My bike was stolen from the storage closet in the apartment complex. Multiple other tenants also experienced property being stolen from the storage closet and from the delivery center, which after complaining, my roommate was unable to convince management to review security camera footage. Seemingly, the cameras are just for show. Unresponsive property management company: The property management company was unresponsive to my requests for help with a number of problems, including the flooding, the burst pipes, and the mold problem. I often had to call or email multiple times before I received a response. Lack of maintenance: The apartment complex was poorly maintained. The pool was clean once a week. The landscaping was pretty, and the hallways were often dirty. Overall, my experience at Aspire North Austin was negative. I would not recommend living there to anyone."
