"My main issue, but critical one, is the poor move out experience where I received my refund too late (approx 2 months after) and too low ($900 deductions) even after leaving apartment professionally cleaned (by paying $300+ to a 3rd party). I am extremely disappointed with the way Terrazzo management handled my move out process. They delayed my refund for two months, despite my repeated emails and visits to their office. Before issuing refund I was not provided itemized final statement (which came after more emails!). They also deducted a lot of money from my deposit for repairs that I did not cause, such as $290 for tub resurfacing (as per the maintenance team it was part of normal wear and tear and I should not have been charged for this). They also charged me an extra $100+ as prorated rent for additional days even though I moved out on time. They did not send me an itemized final statement until after they issued the refund, and when I saw it, I realized they made several errors (as above) that resulted in a low refund. I am still trying to get them to correct their mistakes and give me the correct refund. But getting a response is a huge call (several emails would result in 1 partial response). This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I do not recommend anyone to rent from them, unless they want to deal with a lot of hassle with management. I have already spent 2 months with multiple emails and office visits and again have to do it to get the correct refund. For any sane person this much hassle is not worth their precious time. This incident has really marred my experience of living at Terrazzo. The only positive is the friendly people living here."

"There are better apartment in the area I would recommend . Your move out charges will be a minimum of $1200 no matter how clean you return them, no explanation and evidence is provided. Some of their staff are rude to immigrants and don't show respect when you go to the leasing office Lack of professionalism and training . Negatives HIGH RENTS !!! HIGH MOVE OUT FINES! NO MOVEOUT WALKTHROUGH RUDE STAFF HOMELESS MESS/BIKES STOLEN MAILBOX GETS BROKEN OFTEN MAIN GATE BROKEN MOST TIMES"

"This is the worst apartment I have been. Every month you will see some random charges will add up to the account. Some time double charges, you keep on roaming to the leasing place to get back. After vacating the apartment it’s been 2.5 months and they haven’t refunded the deposit amount. Every day they are saying we are cutting the cheque. I don’t know how it is legal also to keep someone despoit and not to refund.I have been calling them sending tons of emails but same response that we are cutting the cheque. How funny and unprofessional. If someone wants to experience this mental trauma, those can take lease here."

"Pros: Great school catchment, good community of tenants and great for kids Cons: everything else. The building management is irresponsible. They charge random fees even when we were not there for weeks, constantly increase fees, mailbox were vandalized and not fixed for months with 0 communication or apparents measures taken. We lost important mails from bank, governments and they never updated us in the repair. We paid the rent on time (in advance) but forgot the utilities fees (paid 2days in arrear) they charged us 10% of the rent as penalty. And many other tenants have the same issues. If you would like to move out before end of lease, you pay 2 months notice+2months penalty Short term lease are pretty much double standard rent. When you complain, they say you can leave. I don’t care about what they will reply to this comment as it’s simply for visibility but not actual consideration."

"Avoid at all costs! They swindle money when you leave, for the money you pay they don't have a place where you can dump furniture. Cockroach infested apartments and had a tough time cleaning, not worth for the money you pay. The only trump card is LME school but then there are other good schools and apartments near by, like the one I have moved to for a much lesser rent. I was there for an year and will never return again!"
