"3 Stars: March 2024 Had issues related to alarming in my apartment. Will update this whether issues happen reoccur. Maintenance staff has been very helpful with addressing my concerns. --- 2 Stars: May 2023 This apartment complex has its positives and negatives. I'm fortunate to be located on a better side of the building, so I don't have to deal with the frequent broken elevators. However, the complex now requires a package delivery service called Fetch, which costs $20/month. I've had a negative experience with them, and others have too, but it does prevent packages from being left out for too long. (Update: Feb 2024 - The team responded to this message to "do our best to resolve this with you" but when I talked to them about this before they responded to this review they said they cannot undo this. Seems like they responded only to make themselves look good pretending they would be able to fix this for me). Despite these issues, I've decided to renew my lease because I enjoy the surrounding area. However, be aware that the northern side of the building can be quite noisy due to traffic and car enthusiasts with loud vehicles. --- Feb 2024: Funny story, when I was applying for my apartment at The Kenzie back in 2022, particularly involving an issue with setting up my rental insurance. The problem stemmed from a misconfiguration on The Kenzie's end, which led to a small issue with the rental insurance setup. When I contacted the insurance provider for clarification, they advised that The Kenzie needed to correct a minor mistake they had made and give him more information. To resolve this quickly, the rental insurance representative brought my leasing agent at The Kenzie into our call. Opting to stay silent, I listened as the conversation unfolded, expecting a straightforward resolution. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the leasing agent, who had initially been very helpful in my apartment search, deliberately blamed me for the mishap in an attempt to deflect responsibility."
"A Peaceful Oasis in the City! Living at The Kenzie at the Domain has been a true delight. The building offers a serene environment, perfectly coupled with efficient service. A recent issue with my garbage disposal was promptly addressed, showcasing their commitment to resident comfort. What's more, its prime location places restaurants, bars, and shopping centers within easy reach. Not to mention, I've always felt safe during my nighttime strolls. For anyone seeking a harmonious living experience in the heart of the city, The Kenzie is a top choice."
"Don’t rent here. You’ll be met by the biggest ‘fugazie’, smile-to-your-face sales, might-as-well-be-a-car dealership staff in the leasing office that absolutely crumbles when anything related to actual property management. This place does not function. I’ve had packages stolen and no response when Fetch asks for proof. Have requested my FOB to be fixed like 5 times to no avail. They refused my mail for two months based on their incorrect mailbox setup. They still have 1950s top loading washers and dryers. ANTS - YES ANTS crawl all through the apartment and pesticide people came like every month. I’d rather live at the bus stop a block over. And to be clear, this starts with the office manager and is a top-down problem. Fare well, reader, and select another property."
"Living here at the The Kenzie at the Domain is a wonderful place to live. I can walk to all my favorite shops and the Domain Park. The office staff is always happy to help especially Angela. The maintenance staff is amazing!! I would like to thank Adrian a maintenance staff who rescued my jewelry from the sink drain. I am happy living here :)"
"Not worth the price. Thin walls, elevators are out of service 40-50% of the time. The garage door has been wide open for several days at a time. Secure parking Aey? Hallway usually dirty due to garbage. Don’t blame the tenants blame your policies. Lose a fob be ready to pay $100.. lose a garage card be ready to pay. build quality is sub-par, being very generous there. Elevators smells of dog urine most of the time. Today almost got crushed by the elevator doors before it jerked several times while going up. that was a nice wake me up in the morning. Hey the people in the office are nice so I give 2 stars. My thought this company relies on their location instead of quality. So if you have enough money to throw away or you’re just an idiot yeah become a tenant. 09/01/2023 The past year and present operation of this complex is very POOR. The front office answer questions without knowing the answer. People are inept. Please look for other apartments. Avoid Kenzie. I got 1 year left and it’s going to be horrid.
