"Do not, I repeat do not move into theses apartments. I’ve lived here 5 months now and these guys have the worst maintenance supervisor and Maintenance team I have ever seen. They don’t complete work orders after you submit them. I see them all the time riding around on a golf cart not doing anything, but still management what’s you to still pay your rent on time . I’m not the only one with this complaint, all of my neighbors have the same issue and that’s why they are moving out . Just thought you guys should know what’s really going on over here with these issues just in case you decide to move in , they don’t fix anything !!!!!"
"When moving in, I asked about the low reviews and was told it was due to a poor management company that is no longer involved w the property but it's starting to seem like this property is just generally mismanaged. I have been living here since Dec 2023 and my car was just randomly towed from in front my unit. After having to WALK half a mile across the complex to the office I was told there was nothing to be done because the office failed to inform me upon move in that aside from inputting the cars info on their actual website per the application a third party website has to have the info plugged in as well. This was not informed to me and hidden inside the fine print of a folder provided at move in. The move in process was slow and confusing. The agent who helped us (Tatiana) was very kind and helpful but the other woman Ira or whatever her name is has no care of concern for any of the residents it seems, the actual manager is scarcely available and they NEVER pick up the phone unless you call over and over. The maintenance on property is slow and unreliable and seemingly inexperienced. On top of that we did not have a washer or dryer in unit for 3 weeks upon move in. No working ice machine and the entire apt was FILTHY with dirt all over the floors and counters so it took almost 3-4 days to clean it up before starting to unpack. I'll take this review down if my concerns are addressed and made right. Until then if you're considering this place because of the decent prices, weigh your options carefully bc that extra $2-300 a month might very well be worth it. This place sucks so far."
"I have had a pending application at The Verandah since January 29th. It took many daily follow-ups from me to find out there were discrepancies in my income verification. I submitted clarification immediately in multiple formats. For weeks now since then I have been leaving messages and getting no response even when I'm promised a call back. I finally stopped in on Saturday (2/10) again (stopped in on 2/3 as well since I heard crickets all week) and they said all that was needed was a rate approval. They said I would know by Monday 2/12 at the end of the day. It's now 2/15 and I haven't heard a thing. My original move in date was 2/2. This is completely unacceptable. I am an ideal tenant, a mid 40s woman who doesn't smoke, has responsible friends, no negative past history, decent credit, and has a stable career almost risk free from layoffs. I now understand why your property has so many vacant units (89 as of today, 90 if you count the one you took off availability for me). Add in that during the 10 minutes I was there on Saturday at least 2 residents stopped by to follow up on services they have been waiting on. One claimed was an emergency service. It has been 18 days since I began this process. I have since secured another rental for myself. My application was processed within 3 days and I am moving in next week. I guess the Verandah and it's parent company isn't really in the business of renting and managing apartments, just creating a mill to collect unsuspecting customers application ($50) and administrative ($150) fees. Good luck to future applicants and tenants."
"We have loved it here! Our view can’t be beat and this place is pet friendly. I have a 2 car garage attached to my home and it’s always peaceful. I found a lost pup a couple months ago and the entire staff, including maintenance, came together and helped the pup get home. Prices are great. We really have been happy here. The new management team is helpful and always nice. I would recommend this place to anyone."
"I have lived here going on 4 months. Maintenance is very prompt and professional. They always wear shoe coverings and are quick to diagnose the problem. The office staff is very professional and nice. It’s a great price for the location. The views are so beautiful. We used the pool a lot with friends and kids. The pool compliments everyone. Love the beach walk in part of the pool for the little ones. The car wash is also something that I utilize and is very convenient. I really like that the gates always work and are kept shut. Very happy with my decision."
