"Moved in recently and had the AC blowing out along with my car getting wrongfully towed. Bernardette and the rest of the management/maintenance team has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve felt that they have treated me as they would want to be treated. The best experience I have had at any apartment complex. Facility is clean and I’ve really enjoyed living here for the short time I have."

"The management was transferred and its different. It's not great. but it's also not the worst. The rooms you receive upon moving in have dirty blinds. dirty but mine were also broken blinds for the curtains. Cheaply built ventilation, (the cutouts in the drywall are outside vent inserts). Edges of the carpets have nails that weren't hammered down all the way so I've actually had a serious gash from the carpet while I was barefoot. I've had a roach problem and had to solve it myself because the pest control provided wasn't working. My neighbor has a rat problem. Unfortunately I've noticed management not picking up the phone from 5-6 and/or leaving earlier than 6 like maybe 5:40 so sometimes when you have to turn something in, like a document or pick up packages that were too big for the mailbox it's quite hard. And I'm sure you can expect that sometimes but I'd say 75 percent of the time they leave early and or ignore incoming calls. At the start of the management change one of the ladies was crazy rude and inpatient like almost like this job wasn't for her but overtime she seems to have become more hospitable with residents. Back to the rooms themselves, the drawers don't work all the way and the wood is warped in the cabinets. Expect to do a deep clean when moving in. If you like a quiet community that's super fricking close to literally anything you could ask for, this place is perfect. But if you want top tier management and a clean room from the get-go you might want to look around a little more. The Laundry Facility is also 2 dollars a load so it gets pricey. Not the most clean facilities either. The floors in there are actually quite gross and looks like they haven't been cleaned in months but it is what it is. "I needed a place near downtown Austin, but didn't want to pay downtown prices. Tammy and her team were very accommodating in helping me find the perfect first-floor apartment. You feel like you're out of the city with all the trees and trails, but less than 5 minutes down the road you're at a shopping center and easy access to Mopac. The maintenance crew is prompt, courteous, and resolves issues quickly. The entire complex is quiet and safe. The apartments are roomy and comfortable. I highly recommend Nichols Park for anyone who is looking for an affordable, quiet, and safe place to live where you'll be well taken care of by Tammy and her team. Update: 12/9/2020 Reducing my review to one star as I haven't received my security and pet deposits after moving out in June of this year. Due to COVID-19, I moved out of state and notified Nichols Park management in the spring that I would be moving out in June. While my lease wasn't up until October, I was told that if they could re-rent my apartment I would not be liable for the remainder of my lease and would receive a refund. They re-leased my apartment and the new tenants moved in mid-June. After several emails and phone calls since then, I still have not received my deposits. While I stand by my prior review - all those things are true - I'm really disappointed that they have not returned my funds to me."

"I moved here at the beginning of June and I'm very happy with my decision to live here. It's quiet. I love going out on my balcony and seeing nothing but tree tops. Very good area with plenty of shopping, trails, etc. Great for the price! What led me here was the reviews regarding management. THAT'S HUGE when choosing a place to live. Tammy and her team are exceptional and prompt! Thank you for making this a pleasant experience."

"I have lived at Nichols Park for 16 years. There have been many changes over the years and I still love my apartment and my neighbors. The office staff is very nice and so are the maintenance men. They are allot faster about fixing things then the last company. I signed on for another year and they put new faucets and ceiling fans in my apartment. It is so beautiful."
