"I just want to say that Cooper and kniyah Have been extremely awesome and helpful. Anytime I have needed any help from the office. They are very nice and professional and go out of their way to get whatever is needed done. I am very impressed since the new management team has taken over my lease is up in May and they are helping me find a two bedroom so I can continue to live here, anytime I have experience Now I’m confident things will get done in a timely fashion. "I lived at the Ridge from 2019 to 2023. The apartments are really old overall but at the time, I knew the management and maintenance were great because I had a friend who lived there. Starting in 2022, the management crew started to quit one by one and last I know, they couldn't even retain David, the very helpful maintenance staff that worked there for over 10 years. I saw the situation and moved out in July of 2023. But the last straw for me was how they handled the security deposit. They were clearly so disorganized and understaffed at the time that they charged me for the last month of my lease twice and haven't fixed it yet! They also made up charges like damage to the bathtub and tile when I clearly didn't do anything to those except normal wear and tear! They made up a total of $670 in charges after I moved out which is just ridiculous. But I have enough evidence and I will take legal actions to get my deposit back. If I wanted to write a review for previous management I'd probably give it 4 stars but this review is for the new management."
"Overall we've had a good experience with the exception of the roaches. We lived here for over three years and every summer we typically see 10~35 roaches in our kitchen per day so we decided its time to go. We did have pest control coming out every week a few years ago but they lost our key twice, plus did an actisol treatment without letting us know when (you're not supposed to breath in the treated areas for at least two hours)... Kinda frustrating plus they left our door unlocked which was really lame. They got a new pest control crew since then so hopefully things are better. We've been using our own roach treatment which was doing well till the summer hit and now it's beyond help. The maintenance is great. Super fast and they're also really friendly. The office staff is nice too. Apartments are nice, decent size and location plus some units have private decks, outdoor closets and a fireplace which is awesome. For the price it's been a good deal-- as of now we are paying about $1500 for a two bedroom granted that it's not refurbished which was our choice when we signed. Valet trash shows up 40% of the time and you still get charged for it which is lame. Also cars get broken into fairly often but if you park near well lit areas and you don't leave money/valuables out you'll probably be fine. Their communication typically consists of an email blast to the entire apartment to handle anything from announcements, to payment portal changes to noise complaints... Not the most effective, plus they send a ton a week so you learn to ignore them fast. Despite the issues with roaches, it's still been a good experience. It's affordable, quiet, and it has everything we need. From what other residents tell me, not all units have roach issues which is cool."
"Friendly staff and maintenance team. However, the rodent issue was never fully addressed and lasted for several months. Lack of maintenance on the roof and attic resulted in the loss of internet service for almost a week because rodents chewed up the ATT cable in the attic. The paint on the kitchen and bathroom was really bad. But the nightmare was after the moveout... their charge was ridiculous. No transparency for the cost of each item they charged. No detailed information about "damage" or why we are being charged. I have called and emailed multiple times to try to discuss and get more details. They never replied to emails or just told me they would get back to me and I never heard back from them. Very disappointed with the management team after 2 years of living in this apartment. You will never realize how much a month will cost other than the rent and utility if you live in the Ridge. I am very surprised that they got 4 stars on Google Maps. Not recommended. Some updates (Oct 24 2023) - The Resident Account Manager Team promised they will get back to me on Monday (Oct 23 2023) by via call/email. However, I haven't received anything from their end. They are so careless, irresponsible, unprofessional and show no respect to their previous residents. DO NOT choose this place."
"It is rare that I write a review but this has been a less than pleasant experience. Before I even moved into the apartment there was a roach problem that after 10 months of living here has not gotten any better. I have requested to be added to the pest control list, which you are required to pay for, multiple times and it doesn't seem to help the issue. My dishwasher was broken when I first moved in and it took almost a month to get fixed. I've had multiple packages go missing, so I don't get anything delivered here anymore. Valet trash is inconsistent, and again, you're required to pay for it. Typically about a third of the washer and dryers are consistently out of order in the laundry room. Overall, the location is great and it's a quiet neighborhood, but is not worth the price."
