Bee Caves Vistas 6508 Steep Cactus Trail, Austin, TX 78735

"We love our home at Bee Caves Vistas! It has many pros but there are few cons and things that you should be aware of should you choose to live here. Pros: • the community is fantastic. We have met some of our closest friends here in Austin! • relatively safe neighborhood with minimal issues (I.e packages don’t get stolen, very few solicitors if any) • maintenance is usually pretty responsive. I guess a pro is we have not needed a ton of fixes but when we do they are quick to respond. • the staff at the office is super sweet and very responsive! We get emails updating us on the community and any reminders that we may need. • the homes themselves are great. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, plus a garage and there are lots of grassy areas • location - it is located super close to downtown Austin and we absolutely love the spot! Traffic is a bit rough right now due to construction, but it should be great once complete! • the VIEWS. Holy cow. Unmatched and you can’t find much better in Austin! Cons: • it should be noted this is a pretty bare bones community. There are ZERO amenities. There are no sidewalks, pool, gym, community center, and storage varies greatly by your specific floor plan. Some garages can fit two cars, but that’s if you have NOTHING inside your garage. There are very limited areas for storage. Our floor plan did not have access to an attic but we do have space under the stairs. It has limited closets, shelves, and storage areas so we purchased ~$200 worth the shelving/cabinets to just store our towels, blankets, everyday use items. Additionally, we had to rent a storage unit to put our basic decorations in for holidays. • there is a “dog park” however it is very small and there is very little room for the dogs to play/run but you cannot have your dogs off leash in the large wide open area • rent is insane. It’s a nice house that is big enough for a small family but you are paying close to $3,000 for the house. Again, there are no amenities. • landscaping is interesting. They do have a company that will mow but we were under the impression that we would have a sprinkler system and our grass would look presentable. That is not the case. Our entire side yard is pretty much dirt. But the leasing office looks great! Overall, if you are looking for a “pass through” home to get into a house to own this is a great option. It’s dog friendly, large enough if you have a family, and great location. Ultimately, it’s over priced for what it is but with very few options like this in Austin, it works."

"Absolutely love living here! We’ve lived all over Austin in different complexes and this is hands down the best. The homes are super nice, the backyards are so cute, and the views are amazing. On top of an awesome home, the staff is INCREDIBLE. Unlike every other complex I’ve lived in, they actually care, have amazing communication with the residents, and are super nice/helpful! Highly recommend the community!!"

"The property is in a great location and close to so many things in Austin, but I especially love how secluded I feel living here. It doesn't have that city-feel, loud traffic, or construction sounds. It's the first home my boyfriend and I have rented after living in apartments for years, and I'm so happy we made the change. We have much more space, privacy, and it's easier to relax having nature around us and a beautiful view from the living room and balcony! I feel safe living here, and our neighbors/ community is friendly and respectful towards one another. Kelly, the property manager, is a sweetheart and is always on top of things to make sure we're happy. I would recommend this property to anyone tired of the apartment life or the city getting too big for your liking."
