"Updated: Way over priced! Wasted money painting the building exteriors white and gray. All it needed was touch ups. Now basic and boring. Should have left the charming wood grain garage doors. Insulation needed for thin walls, floors, and windows between units and to the outside. You'll hear neighbors talk, tvs, music, etc in detail. The heat/cold of the outdoors also pours into your home unless you have HVAC running frequently. Be careful not to run AC too much in summer, when we moved in ours wasn't working. Thankfully it was fixed quickly but others in the community were without AC for an extended periods. Several neighbors smoke weed/cigs so can't enjoy open windows. Window frames are warped so hear and feel everything outside when closed. Dogs bark non stop and can be heared throug floors,walls,closed windows, and vents. One room has a broken seal between the double pane and is filled with moisture and rust. Loud landscaping on Monday mornings, but hallways and stairs stay stained and with gum. There was dog piss, trash, and tons of dog hair in the halls and stairs of my building for months until last week. Seams of walls/ceilings have multiple cracks along with the crown molding sagging. Notified 3 times now with no response. Rude, self-absorbed, pretentious "neighbors." No sense of community. Also lots of entitled teens at the complex being loud & obnoxious with groups over on weekends. Rude and aggressive residents in the gym so we've stopped using it. New gym equip is terrible. No gym maintenance and seem unsafe with fraying cables or broken and worn parts. Clubhouse rental space is ridiculously overpriced at $75/hr. Clubhouse is the only building with an elevator(thats broken) for the 2 floors yet the majority of the buildings are 4 floors and stairs only. New doors for the clubhouse have broken secure access so anybody can walk in and out day and night. The pool is basically a hot tub in summer and cold plunge in winter. January a pipe burst in building 7 and 8. 1 strip ofcovered parking in the dumbest farthest area from all but 1 building for extra charge. The buildings have garages at a ridiculous $200/month. They don't even attach to units. Terrible parking. Expect to park far away from your unit. Huge issue down at the lower end of apts! People drive around endlessly for spots. Spaces taken up by work trucks/trailers. Good luck to any guests as residents use their spaces as overflow. Supposedly there is monthly resident events but there's been 1 since we have moved in. There's little to no engagement with residents or resident appreciation. Quickly turn of a 5 star living experience, to a less than satisfactory 1 star. Excited for our lease to end. ... Original: Between the office team and the quiet area and picturesque views, this is definitely what makes it a great place to live after looking at several nearby properties. Thank you management for being extremely responsive to any and all concerns. Hannah you are informative and helpful any time we have had questions about the property or for things as simple as recommendations for things to check out and do around town. Thanks for checking in on any maintenance request we've had and ensuring the team follows through in completion of them. Shelby you have such a great bubbly personality and you have been helpful to us as well in creating a great experience. Alex is always a friendly face to see around the property or when first entering the leasing office who is always ready to assist and is equally helpful in answering questions that might come up. The views here, especially from the luxurious infinity pool & deck along with the clubhouse and select unit balconies are incredibly breath taking! I'm glad to have chosen Tacara to call home! P.S. thank you for the extremely sweet and thoughtful move-in card and community event housewarming gift. We immediately mounted it on our bulletin board by our door and love seeing it when we enter and leave each day as a quick reminder that we chose the right place!"

"I recently moved form College Station, TX and I was looking for an apartment with a relaxing view, also well located and in a great community with lovely amenities. I have to say that I visited 5 properties around the area, and my final choice was Tacara because of the below reasons: 1. Alejandro (Alex) was so helpful and friendly! For me a welcoming staff member as a first point of contact is A+. He was incredible kind and informative, engage to make a future resident happy and fast solution solver! 2. The swimming pool and amenities areas are in excellent conditions! You can tell they take care of the property very well, and you do not see trash anywhere like other properties neither dogs waste. 3. The apartments are super cute, the views are amazing, it has so many closets and a storages! That was very critical for me because I was moving form a 2x2 apartment into a 1x1 apartment, everything fit really well! Including my paddleboards and all the camping stuff I have! 4. I read all the google reviews from each property I visited, and the neighbors wrote amazing reviews for Tacara, they are 100% true and I am happy and thankful for those reviews because it made my decision even easier! 5. The hydro massage bed was too much and too good to be true! I enjoy it once in a while and its free unlimited use!! THANK YOU! 6. It's a very quiet and peaceful community, because it's a hidden GEM that you do not see form the main street, you do not hear any noise!! It's wonderful if you are working from home like me :) 7. The hiking trails from the apartment are awesome! My dogs appreciate the nature as well as I do! 8. It's close from the groceries store (walking distance) 9. I wish they have more visitors parking, but so far so good about the parking system here, it allows me to find a spot available at any time, nights, weekends, etc.. 10. The website is very easy to navigate, makes your life easy when paying the rent, or requesting something to be fix. I loved it! If you are looking for an place to live around Steiner Ranch I 100% recommend Tacara, it's luxury and a resort living style that I will not change to save a couple of dollars."
"I have lived at Tacara Steiner Ranch Apartments for over 3 years and feel so blessed to live at such a well run community. Each one of the staff Shelby (Manager), Hannah (Assistant Manager) and Alex (Leasing Consultant) do such an outstanding job and provide excellent customer service, something so rare in this day and age. Each one of them are very friendly and make you feel welcome and handle any questions with the upmost attention and care. You won't find an apartment community in a better location. The apartments sit away from any road, yet you can get to a grocery store in two minutes, and most major locations within a short drive. The community is 5 minutes from Lake Travis (!!!) and you can see the Lake from the swimming pool and some apartments have Lake views. Lastly, I have to mention the maintenance crew. I am always shocked at how quickly they come over to address and maintenance issues. It is very remarkable. I have heard horror stories about other apartments not addressing even major issues in a timely manner. Most of my issues have been addressed within the same day. Thank you to Shelby, Hannah, Alex and the maintenance for all that you do to make Tacara Steiner Ranch THE best place to live! In such a complaining world we live in, I would like you to know that your hard work does not go unnoticed!"
