"This place is horrible never even think of coming to it. I don't know where to start. The rent is so expensive and there are many hidden fees and every month they will sneak extra fees about things that you are not supposed to pay, and pretend they do not know how it happened. They say we will deduct it from your next payment but they never do. They don't send you any detailed receipts too so you won't be aware of what you are paying for unless you investigate and ask for the details. The living room in a three bedroom apartment is super tiny. The apartment design didn't take in consideration privacy as the front door opens directly to both the living room and the kitchen with no small corridor, so if you open the front door your living space will be completely exposed to any stranger. If you are in the lower level of the building make sure to check the master bedroom as it has views of the stairs only with zero sunlight exposure all over the day. There are no hour restrictions for the dog park so you will hear the dogs parking all the time even at late hours. The washroom and the fridge at the swimming pool area are disgusting and fealthy, and fridge is full of dead insects. Oscar from the office is creepy. He is always concerned about the cookies in the office and keeps following people to make sure no one took more than one."

From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. The leasing office staff, particularly Ms. McKenzie, went above and beyond to make me feel valued and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. The grounds of the complex are impeccably maintained, with lush landscaping and well-kept amenities. I loved exploring the various communal areas, from the inviting pool area to the well-equipped fitness center. During the tour of the apartment itself, I was blown away by the modern features and thoughtful design elements. Overall, my experience at Hawthorne at Blanco Riverwalk exceeded my expectations in every way. I feel confident that this is the perfect place for me to call home, and I can't wait to move in. "I have loved living here! The staff is so helpful and willing to do whatever you need. They were also super friendly and helpful in adopting my pet. They worked with me and the shelter to ensure we were following all rule and pet policing things. I also love living in the units and using the exercise facility and the pool! It’s a great place to live if you are a mid to late 20s adult in the San Marcos area! It’s a quiet area with not a lot of parties or college students!"

"Excellent property with a ton of amenities. Management is and always has been the absolute best. Sylvia goes above and beyond for the residents. This property is as good as it is because she manages it. And we hope she never leaves. Maintenance is one of the best aspects of the property. Robert (Maintenance Manager) and Elvin are the best maintenance team I have ever had to deal with. They are always on top of the needs for the residents and the property as a whole. They are absolutely the best."

"I've loved living at this apartment complex. Everyone here is so kind and accommodating. There are always fun parties hosted in the leasing office and free catering. The amenities are also wonderful. The gym is a body builder's dream, and the two doggy parks on the property are convenient and perfect for my puppy. We have never had a problem here, and love life at the Hawthorne!"
