"Though I haven't lived here, I fully appreciate how quiet the area is, the extra light in the units, that it is reasonably priced for the area, that is LEED certified, trails, green views, etc! They allow transference to other properties without having to pay the break lease fee if you need to move, which is nice. Paul was super friendly and helpful, above and beyond! Good job, guys."
"This is honestly one of the best communities and management teams in Austin. I have lived all over Austin in many different apartments and there are very few that have the whole package. Any time we have a maintenance issue they go above and beyond to get it resolved in a timely manner. The grounds of the community are always clean as well as the ammenities (gym, pool, & dog parks). They do a thorough background check of their residents which is great and it seems that they really put the residents first when considering changes to the complex. Like fixing the recent mailroom issue that got out of hand, now we have packages delievered directly to our door! Thank you for going above and beyond it does not go unnoticed, I am now only staying at AMLI properties from now on thanks to the Covered Bridge community!"
"I have lived here for a few years now and I truly love calling Amli home. From the front office staff being so helpful and quick to help when problems arise to the amazing landscaping that keeps our community so clean and beautiful. I have a great appreciation for the quick turn around time on repairs that come up and the quick communication. I look forward to spending more years here and couldn't recommend it more highly."
"I lived at AMLI Covered Bridge for just over a year, initially in a 1-bedroom unit and later switching to a 2-bedroom with a roommate. My experience here was the most disappointing of any rental in the past six years, marked by management oversights and a disregard for tenant welfare. Initial Experience: Upon moving out of the 1-bedroom unit, AMLI attempted to deduct the cost of replacing the stove top from my deposit, citing “discoloration”. However, the stovetop's condition was such that thorough cleaning seemed sufficient. After a series of emails, they acknowledged this and reversed the charge. At the end of my 2-bedroom lease, they repeated this unwarranted claim, blatantly ignoring our previous agreement. Roommate Challenges: The situation grew more complex when my subsequent roommate, whom I’ll refer to as John, took over the sublease for my original roommate's bedroom in the 2-bedroom unit. AMLI's lease structure gives roommates considerable power over subletting decisions. John's peculiar focus on the unit's natural light was my first hint of trouble. He unreasonably rejected four potential sublet candidates I brought in to take over my portion of the lease, exhibiting discriminatory tendencies. One of which being particularly frustrating as he turned away one of them simply due to being from a specific country, which happens to be the same country my previous roommate was from. This wasn't just a roommate issue; it reflected on AMLI's management, which offered no support when I raised these concerns. Their only advice was that a restraining order was my only way out of the lease. John's unstable employment history, including starting and being fired from a new job within two weeks of moving in, raised alarms about his financial reliability. It was perplexing how AMLI approved him for the lease without thorough background checks, considering his track record of not holding a job for more than a month in over two years. Final Issues and Moving Out: The tipping point came shortly after I moved out. I discovered an unauthorized charge of nearly $500 on my bank account via Instacart for a bulk purchase of candy, traced back to John. Despite filing a police report for identity theft, AMLI's response was dismissive. They refused to engage with the issue, demonstrating a shocking level of negligence. This indifference to a serious security breach was deeply concerning and ultimately led me to move out early, in addition to a justified concern for my safety living with John. Conclusion: Now, I'm being pursued by collections on behalf of AMLI, despite their failure to address critical issues during my residency. After paying nearly $20K during my stay, their insistence on enforcing the lease under these circumstances is appalling. My experience at AMLI Covered Bridge starkly reveals their focus on profit over genuine tenant care. I caution potential renters to consider these experiences before committing to this “luxury living community”."
"We moved here 3 weeks ago. Everything is perfect. We had some issue with dishwasher and when I called them for help, they immediately replaced the dishwasher. I was shocked it happened that quickly. I was so happy. Staff are very kind, helpful and working hard. Also, they called me to check if everything is okay. They care about residents. Safety: People might think that here is not safe because there is any gate here. I understand but I always see a security car driving in property at night. I didn’t have any issue about safety so far and I didn’t feel unsafe here at all. Location is very good. I love my new apartment. When we got here apartment was very clean. Washer and dryer are very clean and working very well. Microwave was new. I’m pretty sure that they are making sure everything is clean and usable for new residents. Kitchen is big and my all stuff can fit easily. Thank you to them for being kind and careful for little details. ❤️❤️"
