"Hands down, this is the best fertility spot. If you want to have the highest chances of having a baby(s) come here. You won't regret it. Just be aware that, unless you are planning on paying CASH and not using insurance, you will have constant billing issues. The billing department is the biggest nightmare I have ever encountered. Susie at the Fertility Center is amazing and was so helpful in all of my many grievances, but the people who are actually in charge of billing are horrible. I was overcharged, told a retrieval was not covered the night before bc of a test i failed to do on a specific date (later they fixed the issue, but you can imagine the stress), would receive endless bills ranging from $5-10,000 after procedures (constant calls trying to figure out what it was for), the list goes on...they tell you a certain number and then it grows and changes constantly. The stress you encounter on top of the stress you are already undergoing with all the IVF drugs is really bad. Be prepared to make this your full time job. With that being said, Nurse Bobbie is incredible. She is the best nurse you will ever meet in your life and I really give her all the credit for my pregnancy. I believe all the Dr's are amazing as well, Dr.Zarutskie, Dr.Schutt, amongst others. They are all so detailed, talk to you thoroughly, give you the utmost attention in answering any questions and concerns, the nurses get back to you right away through the portal, the means of communication with all your records are extremely well organized, they talk to you about everything (what to expect, specific options, extra options, different approaches)... I cannot say enough great things. Super professional. I had a friend that went somewhere else and was so jealous of all the extra info i received, that she didnt. Throughout all my many procedures, the nurses in the back with the surgeries were top notch. It really felt like a luxury experience. The Drs and nurses are INCREDIBLE!!! it's so sad that the billing department is so inept and causes so much stress and confusion on patients. The IVF process is so expensive as it is and this process through TEXAS CHILDREN'S will drain you with their constant whip-lash in what you owe. I will always go back bc I love the dr's, the facility and nurse Bobbie, but just be prepared for the stress associated with the financial part."
"Irresponsible institution. Don't believe in this website what it Says and shows. Once you go there and then you will be getting lies upon lies. what they say, contradict what they are doing them. No one give you an official statement and they all just play words instead the services you were promised by them. I am talking about the family fertility center.When you ask about some of your rights and things then,they every just put it on one and another and you will be sent like compass needle back and forth and no one takes responsibility. Plz go for small private hospital and spend &2000 more but avoid embarrassment,depression, anxiety ,failure and tension. More than 50% other expenditure that they are not telling you when you are going for IVF should be ready. They would be telling just $17350 but you should be ready to have over $35000 because they do not tell those thing like other hospital tell you everything an estimation clear cut in procedure and tables. Secondly Especially when your money remain with them then they will not pay to you even in 4 months. You will going there and here, and asking by phone and they will be promising they will pay you next day and next week but that next week will never comes. They have been doing these and they did with me.. Still I am not paid as they promised me that they will pay by the end of August 2021 but still they are not paying. They just tell lies to authorities that they are in the process and talks with patients but it never happens... So please go to some good hospital and pay $3000 extra instead of getting lies and irresponsible services in which no one ready to take responsibility and provide the service for which the patient initially trusted and promised that they would get..........."
"Left in tears if that tells you anything. Had an appointment to be seen by a fertility specialist for two months. Took off work on a Wednesday, navigated all over Houston, paid for parking, etc., just to get told by the rude, apathetic reception desk that "they've been trying to contact me to tell me my appointment was cancelled since the provider is out." I then state I did not receive a message and she said my voicemail was full. I am sorry but this was an extremely urgent message to get out to me before I go through the hassle. I told her it is very hard to answer the phone during the day because I am a teacher and have students all day, everyday. We asked if they email or text notices and she said NOT for cancellations. I find that ironic because I sure did get an email for everything else they needed for me such as a confirmation of apt, billing, etc the Morning OF the apt. I couldn't even reschedule, I had to walk out because this is a very emotional time for us and it was handled very unfortunately and unapologetically."
