"Lived here from may of 2022 to July 0f 2023. The apartment was nice aside from the constant trash that is left outside by the valet trash service. However this is hands down the worst management staff I’ve ever dealt with. You have to send about 3 emails to get an answer to 1. They are constantly adding mystery charges to your rent, and then don’t answer when an explanation is asked for. They tried to charge me for not having rental insurance 3 times. All 3 times I sent them a copy of the email that had the policy attached that I sent when I moved in. They would take it off for a couple of months then add it back on hoping I wouldn’t notice. On multiple occasions if the front desk staff was out giving a tour of something the office would just be closed. I once walked in to ask a question and the manager rushed back to his office so he wouldn’t have to engage. The icing on the cake was after we moved out and received part of our deposit back, they added a $15.00 charge to the account. Sent at least two emails asking what this charge was for and why they didn’t take it out of the deposit and notate the reason. Both are still unanswered to this day and they reported us to collections for $15.00 that they chose not to tell us to why the charge was there. The pool was closed for about 9 months of our 14 month lease, often during the spring. The workout room was closed for renovations nearly the whole time we lived there. Several machines were broken so when it finally opened I was excited for the new machines. There were none, they closed it to paint one of the walls. And they do not waive amenity fees when those are not operational, we were charged every month. When I asked why this was the case they said “because the mailboxes and valet trash are an amenity”. Rich and Corrine were always great. Kelley is actively terrible at her job and apparently incapable of answering an email after the first one. Have to send 3 to get a response. Great looking apartments but they literally couldn’t be run any worse. Stay away!"
"I love Trails at Canyon Creek! The property and apartment is well taken care of and safe. All staff are incredibly kind and responsive. This is the best maintenance team I have ever had in apartment living, as well! Thankful for all the great work to all staff! My pup is loving TCC life, too!"
"So far so good. I've only lived here since 1/4/24. More parking would be cool. But other than that, great place. Just make sure you are content with long walks home every now and then when there is no parking near your apartment. I get it, it's to pressure people into paying for covered parking, just a little annoying."
"I’ve lived here for 4 years and it was awful once greystar took over. If anything happened and you called you would have to call at least 20 times before someone would answer the phone and if you emailed you’re lucky to get a response even though you almost always just get shrugged off. The dog park is in awful condition and just kept getting worse the longer this company took over it’s honestly unsafe for dogs to use due to the sharp rocks broken poles that they just tried to cover with wood and that didn’t last long. They worked on other amenities during peak time to use them. Pool was closed during the hottest part of summer just to do cosmetic changes. The mail room was broken into multiple times and they took so long to fix it. Residents had to drive to the jollyville post office to get their mail for the longest time. They use hello doorstep for their trash service and you’re lucky if they come take the trash and the people you call about it are very rude if they answer the phone. There is so much trash on the property especially towards the back it honestly looks neglected even though they have people “working” on it weekly. Towards the end of my lease they started threatening lease violations to everyone left and right for small things such as not moving your car so they could repaint even though they never stuck to a schedule and we’re awful about updating anyone on what’s been done or when things will be done. They force you to pay for and use fetch which is a TERRIBLE service you’re honestly lucky to get your packages when they say you will. I’ve also been followed by a fetch driver who then proceeded to bang on my door refusing to leave and then took my package until my husband had come home and confronted him. This was brought up to fetch and the apartment and nothing was done they just shrugged it off like it was nothing. Then because I no longer felt safe using this company I had to drive all the way to the post office to get my mail because they don’t deliver to the package boxes on the property and when we brought this up to Sam she told us to go pay for a PO Box if we didn’t want to deal with this anymore. Multiple issues with appliances and instead of actually fixing the problem it was just quick fixes that pretty much didn’t work at all so I had to keep having them come multiple times to fix the same things. One day my stove literally caught fire and they came months later to fix it because they didn’t deem it an emergency and I cancelled that work order and when I complained they entered my home for a cancelled work order and was confused why I wasn’t called like I put in the thing I was told we don’t actually have to call you for a heads up that we’re coming. The theft on the property has gotten worse multiple cars have been broken into, packages stolen, etc. there has also been a large police presence at the property at least once a week for the last few months I was there. The church down the street blocks the entrance with a sign every Sunday as well as traffic being stopped for the church making an already traffic heavy area worse. The gate to the property also almost never works and there have been a number of solicitors walking the property trying to talk to people. The customer service from the people in the office has been awful they do not like to talk to residents honestly and they never help you. They also do not give you a schedule for yearly entering to apartments and just expect everyone to either be fine with it even though it’s hard to coordinate last minute with pets and children. Not to mention the first year they took over they entered apartments so frequently it felt like they were coming in monthly. We’ve had issues with bugs and scorpions no matter how much cleaning you do nothing mattered. We finally got pest control in because it got so bad and all they did was put a few bait traps in and they couldn’t even give us a heads up as to when they would be coming even though I had to be able to get my dog and child out for a few hours for this since they couldn’t be around it."
"MAINTENANCE / THEFT / I have been living here since Oct 2019 and I have noticed how this property keep getting way deteriorated, dirty and unsafe for living. The straw that broke the camel's back my BLACK SUV GMC was completely THEFT in this property as you can see the Police Report and pictures how Police recovered 20 miles away from the property days later. This is not the first time, its been happening for last two years and FEW TIMES including a vehicle from an employee of the Condominium living here been theft. I do Uber and Lyft Black SUV category so this impacted straight to my income for two months til I got my SUV back. I paid the rent ON TIME EVEN THAT since day one I moved here. My lease term ends Feb 1st 2024 I called the leasing office to kindly help me for an early contract termination just 1.5 months left, their answer was I you don’t pay we will send you to collection! I don’t consider this any fare they just need your money they don’t fix the gates, this is the biggest demonstration of how a Condominium will treat great tenants after years!! At the mean time maintenance is a total disaster, they only collect the trash 2 times per week property needs deep maintenance. Pictures attached. So be very careful with this place, there are tons of great condominium in the neighborhood and plenty of apartments available and in much better cleaning and leaving conditions for what you are going to pay with the high risk of theft and what to expect!"
