"This is my second email account, I am so dedicated to letting the public know about our experiences because we don't want any other families to go through the stress and disappointment we have encountered living here. Never judge a book from it's cover, it may look pretty and amazing from the outside but from the inside it's a different story. My experience living at the Bexley Apartment Complex at Whitestone has been incredibly disappointing, to say the least. When my partner and I initially signed our lease in March 2023, we were promised a comfortable living space with a base rent of $1499 per month. However, what we've experienced since then falls far short of those expectations. First and foremost, the constant increase in rent without any justifiable explanation has been unacceptable. Our rent has incrementally risen to $1803.07 per month, which is a significant burden considering the subpar conditions we've endured. Despite agreeing upon a specific base rent, it seems that additional fees and charges have been slyly added without our consent. Maintenance issues have plagued our living experience from day one. Our washer remained broken for an agonizing two weeks, the shower emitted strange noises, and several drawers in the kitchen island were already damaged upon move-in. These problems were merely the tip of the iceberg. Living conditions deteriorated further when a neighboring apartment experienced a fire emergency, which we had to assist with due to the lack of proper safety measures in place. Moreover, pest infestations have become a recurring nightmare. Roaches have made themselves at home behind the fridge and even inside our oven. Despite assurances of regular maintenance checks, our requests for AC filter and fire alarm inspections have been blatantly ignored.Overall, the Bexley Apartment Complex has failed to meet even the most basic standards of habitability. The constant rent hikes coupled with persistent maintenance issues and safety concerns make it impossible to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable living environment. In conclusion, potential renters beware: unless drastic improvements are made, steer clear of the Bexley Apartment Complex. The management's negligence and disregard for tenants' well-being are simply unacceptable."
"I recently moved here and it’s been nothing short of amazing. The entire leasing staff is super kind, sweet, and supportive of each resident. The time they utilize to make sure your move in and stay is accommodating is so refreshing. Jason and that smile will get you every single time. He’s the sweetest. Lucky, Kylee, and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful. They made sure I was taken care of and they really know how to make you feel at home. I need to learn everyone’s name! Moral is, if you’re thinking about living here, LIVE HERE. Weinstein did well with this crew of management and leasing agents. Great apartments and even greater staff."
"I've lived here for almost 2 years now and am moving out just because I'm moving cities. Apartment complexes are never perfect but Bexley Whitestone is super solid. The maintenance is super prompt, staff are approachable and friendly and there's never been issues. The place is clean, the gym is the best apartment gym I've seen honestly, the pool is great and always well-kept. I would only advise not to live in a unit near the pool because the tenants bring their music and blast it, but that's not the apartment's fault. Overall, I've had a great living experience here and I would recommend it."
"Moved in roughly a year ago and I really can't convey how much we like this place. On our side of the complex it's pretty quiet and chill, for the most part people pick up after themselves (even dog poop) and overall the property is just a good place to live. The maintenance staff, to a person, are very helpful and friendly. We've had a couple of issues sit for a few days but they've mostly been low priority issues. Whenever we have something serious (leak, AC issue) they've been prompt and thorough. In addition, the office staff is super helpful and nice. We just like it here!"
"We used to live here back in 2018. We lived in the 5th building on the 3rd floor. Our building was quite hidden all the way at the back so food deliveries gets so confusing. The property is pet friendly, but some residents don’t pick up after their pets. You would always see smeared *p**p everywhere. I never really tried the pool area or the fitness studio. I always pass by and it looked clean. They have yoga classes and fitness classes free for residents so that is a bonus for fitness enthusiasts. The package lockers was nice. The coffee in the lounge was really good! This is my favorite amenity :) the garden beds was always clean. Location was really good, Target, HEB, Walmart, Hmart, lakeline mall and movie house are not that far. There is even a place where you can do oil change that is literally walking distance. Living in the 3rd floor was realky hard, hauling grocery is such a mess! That stairs! Not really good for grocery runs, moving in and out.. We never received any complaints from downstairs neighbor so I think the floors and walls are not that thin. I could hear my neighbors on the right side whenever they fight and yell. But it is 110% quiet on the other side. I work overnight shift before so this was troublesome. Parking was really hard.. it is free but can’t find parking spot after 8pm. I have been woken up by the leaf blower and pressure washing. It was just hard when you work from 11pm to 8am.. The last 2 weeks that we were there was a disaster. Our AC bailed out on us, so we have to the gave us that portable AC that was really not working for a 743 sqft apt. The carpet got wet. They came back one time and they found out that we were moving out so they did not really bother to fix it. The office was a whole different story, the assit mngr was really mean. Don’t know how to talk to people. When she answered my calls she was not very pleasant. Leasing agents were so so.. did not know what to do. Always a new person every month. I almost lived here again 2021, but I saw her when I retoured soooo.. The guy that toured us was ok, he did not show us the exact apartment.. We wanted to move in in 4-5 days. After I left this property, I started working in Property Management so I understood why the leasing office are like that. They don’t get commish per lease… This was our first home together so definitely memorable.. i now appreciate the $900 rent and with the balcony. I think we got lucky when I found our apartment. -W"
