"Let me first say I’m not a tenant, so this review is based solely on my experience in communicating with the staff. I’m giving the community a one star rating because on two separate occasions I went to the office to speak with someone about actually touring apartments for my father. On both occasions, they should have been open and available but one day the office was locked, the other the leasing office was in the starting phases of renovation. There was no notice of where a temporary office would be and I’ve left two messages that as of the time of this review, have not been returned. From my perspective and overall experience, if the office staff doesn’t operate when they should be, don’t advise anyone where they will be temporarily running day to day operations, or returning messages is not the type of place that can earn my business. Your experience may be better than mine, so take this review how you will. Good luck."

"I have lived at Barton Creek Villas for a year and a half now. Things were quite messy at first but when Grey Star took over it's gotten better even though we still don't have functioning amenities. A special shout out to Frank and his team for their efficiency and timely promptness and to Mary Anne for making us always feel heard, understood, cared for and, yes, even loved."

"Trent Dodson deserves a promotion!!! He is so kind, funny, helpful, and authentic. I resigned my lease in large part thanks to Trent. He goes out of his way to assist residents, all with a smile on his face. My AC wasn't working last summer and I kept calling to have the maintenance staff come look at it. Finally he took charge and made sure I got a new unit. My apartment has been so much better ever since. Trent should be the manager, no questions asked. He organizes fun activities and brings an unmatched energy to the community that truly makes it a fun place to live! Thank you for everything Trent!"
