"I've been a resident since the property first opened under the old management, and I cannot begin to describe how much it has improved since last July. Staying at CW Cypresswood was the best decision I've ever made for my apartment home. I've lived at many apartments in the area, and when I tell you CW stands out, it is by far an understatement. The apartments offer plenty of room and ample closet space, which was important to me. These apartments are also down a road that is not too busy and you don’t hear constant traffic noise. I also have an apartment that faces the pool and is incredibly relaxing at night. The apartment is everything I was looking for and the amenities are very nice and updated, but what sold me the most on renewing was the office staff. Everyone here is very kind, knowledgeable, and have made sure all of my questions were answered. I greatly appreciate all of the help I received, they've all made me feel that this wasn’t just their job but that they genuinely care for the community and the residents. There are also frequent events held to make us all feel engaged with one another. Since the change, they've upheld community rules that for a long time went ignored, and continue to make changes for the better. I highly recommend CW Cypresswood and have already been referring my friends. Thank you, and keep doing what you are doing!!"
"Although I cannot give it a perfect score due to a few reasons, if there is a resolution and improvement, this will be a perfect living environment for me. 1. Unmarked visitors' parking - this towing company lurks like sharks looking for victims to haul. The towing company should be able to do this during certain hours, such as 3 am, if the car is overnight. A friend of mine came by at 11 am to check out the place and was planning to move here as well. Having just returned from a tour of the complex, we wandered into my apartment to have lunch, not noticing that her car was already gone. The car was suspected to have been stolen.Our first call was to 911, then we called the number posted on the wall to confirm. The vehicle was towed! $250 instantaneously. You need to be careful! Towing companies like this are LEGAL robbers. 2. The walls and floors are very thin - I have no idea what materials are being used or if my neighbor upstair is doing it intentionally. She stomps and drags furniture every day. As a result of reporting the issue, guess what happened? If they were able to resolve it, it won't be on this review. Keyless entry - at first I was very impressed and thought, "Fancy!". However, imagine you are riding an elevator and suddenly the electricity gets cut off or you own a Tesla and are driving in the middle of nowhere to charge your car. That's the feeling. Tell me how you feel. I leave it like that. Hey, we all have negative traits. What about our bright side or positive traits? I like how close it is to 45 / 1960 and accessible to everything (HEB, Walmart, Kroger, CVS, and many restaurants) within a mile or two. There are parks whereyou can walk and bike trails to start your day. Since this is a brand-new complex, I haven't had any issues with the units (well, my unit). It has a large closet, a compact living room, and a granite countertop kitchen. The patio deck you get is tiny but doable for a 1 bedroom unit. MANAGEMENT is a very important factor when renting an apartment or leasing property! They are the ones you deal with. They were never an issue for me because the process of approving things for them was dictated by those above themor the contractor they hired. Try it out if you are considering moving here! Provide them with the opportunity to prove themselves by receiving 5 stars from every resident. There's always room for improvement in everything."
"Don't let the looks of these apartments fool you. My truck was stolen the first 3 weeks that I lived here and has since been broken into 3 more times. The gates never work and stay open throughout the night. I no longer feel safe in my own home and question myself every morning when I walk out the door if my truck is still going to be there so that I can make it to work. On top of that my AC unit went bad and it took 3 days to fix. Would not recommend anybody spending their money here it's a waste and a headache in itself."
"Do not move here. We’ve been here almost 2 years and it’s always something. Old management was always so helpful and truly cared . New management is horrible and there are constant new employees everyone is not on the same page. After two years of being here they have now decided that will tow vehicles who have expired tags or damage to windshield. There was no proper communication with residents about this new change. I’m not sure what my vehicle that is driven everyday has to do with living here. They are more concerned about tags on a vehicle than crime and other issues that go on with the complex."
