"We visited this restaurant for lunch during the week. Service was excellent, food quality excellent, authentic Tex-Mex. Try the Chile Rellenos, they are authentic, and most Mexican restaurants can't do them right. Tacos are crispy shells, not wimpy shells, and meat is top quality. Byron is the hidden gem of the Sauk Valley."

"The bathrooms need a very good cleaning and so does the doors. I had ordered the steak taco salad. I have to specify what needs to be taken out due to health reason. The food prep and service, I have to admit was quick. However, this was not authentic Mexican food. I had to look at twice to make sure it was steak, never seen it cut the way it was. Also, there was no flavor to the meal or salsa or the hotter salsa. Remember when I ordered my special, mine was wrong, I just took the foods I cannot eat. I am one of the strictest critic when it comes to Mexican food. If you haven't been to the Rio Grande Valley Texas or the borders of Mexico.... well good luck is all I have to say when you go out for Mexican Food."

"Small town business with big time taste. Been going here weekly since it opened and have turned so many others on to here as well. Great drinks, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere... Great place to dine and unwind. The paella is absolutely delicious."

"Food portions are great, the drinks are plentiful and Dos has a wonderful family atmosphere. Great authentic Mexican food and always good service! Once your order is taken the food arrives in a timely fashion and they check up on you, without crowding you. So if you're in the area and craving Mexican food, I would drive over to the Byron location. The Oregon location is missing something and I can't figure it out just yet."

"There was plenty of parking and entry was somewhat handicap accessible. The restaurant inside and out looked clean and well kept. The restroom was very clean and handicap accessible. I wouldn't say the service was great, it was ok nothing good or bad stands out no was overly friendly or that efficient. The food was ok some of our plates were very hot while one wasn't even warm. The flavor of the rice was very good and we all enjoyed it. The chips were unique and tasty. The salsa was very good both the mild and the house made hot was outstanding. The chimichanga was good but nothing different than most chimi's. The cheese quesadilla was flat, dried out and flavorless. The cobo plate was ok, the taco consisted of shell, ground beef and lettuce. The burrito was ground beef wrapped in a flour shell with a little tiny bit of cheese on top. The enchilada was ground beef wrapped in a shell with a little red sauce on it. The meat was the same in all of them and it was very light on flavor. The prices were consistent with most Mexican restaurants in the area."
