"This company opened a fake account in my name, sent me some ugly kitchen towels and shipped them to my old address and then attempted to collect payment. I called multiple times and they have not closed the account. Some scam they have going. if someone stole my info why would they buy something and then ship it to what they thought was my address and wht $24 ugly kitchen towels"
"Suuuuper shady company. They opened a fraudulent account in a family member’s name and are not forthcoming at all with details around the transaction. I see a lot of other posts about this type of thing happening to others. We are currently pursuing action with the FTC, CFPB, Wisconsin Attorney General, and BBB to push for an investigation of this company. I’ve have extensive experience in credit fraud and this reeks of malfeasance. I would definitely read reviews before initiating a transaction with this company. Hell, even if you don’t initiate it, they may just do it for you!"
"Was given a credit limit of $400 paying $20 a month. Since I never used this company before I thought I would try with one item up to $100. I placed the order but after 2 weeks still did not receive item I called CS and was informed I needed to pay half the bill first before they released the item. It would have been nice if they told me that prior. My item is still sitting waiting for release. This company is unprofessional shady and has poor customer service skills!"
"I decided to do all my Christmas shopping at Ginny's. I sat down on a Sunday evening working off a gift list for my daughter, my wife, and my son and mother-in-law. I ordered several products from this company. They actually shipped one order and suspended my credit line for the other orders without having the minimal curtesy of notifying me. When I called the company on December 6 to find out what the issue was, I was told I cannot use my account for two weeks because of suspicious activity. The fact that I placed more than one order was suspicious. Even though I am on the phone verifying all my information I was told to re-order in 2 weeks and pay expedited shipping if i wanted to get the gifts by Christmas. This is ludicrous. I get a credit line increase to $1400.00 I am told I can use that credit line to order from the catalog but because I placed more than one order they will not ship. They now have one less customer but that doesn't seem to bother them. Doesn't bother me either. I am no longer interested in their credit or merchandise. Already reordered elsewhere."
"Do yourself a favor and find another Company to do business with. This Company and it's subsidiaries DO NOT help your credit in any way, unless it is to report BAD credit. Your credit score gets lowered when it is checked, however, your good credit means nothing unless you specifically call or write them for a credit reference. They DO NOT report a good credit history. The people that work for this Company have shown NO CARE OR CONCERN if they lose a customer. It was like pulling teeth from a mad lion to get my first credit to begin with. Once I paid off the account early, I found out that I STILL do not have credit with them. MAYBE the item I order will be automatically shipped, BUT, then again, it too may be subject to ANOTHER credit approval. ANOTHER big business in it for JUST the money... customer loyality means nothing. I closed my account, and they didn't care, they just closed it. So very sad"
