"We were rented an apartment that didn't get under 80 degrees during the summer and management did nothing to help. EDIT: Property manager's response claims they don't have record of me living there. I lived at two different units at Sunset Ridge during 2018-2021. The first unit was great, the second unit was not. Greystar managed the property at the time."

"Amending my previous review after speaking with the front office. Samantha let me know that she will check with the air conditioning contractor to ensure our unit is in working order, and that they are planning improvements for landscaping and pest control. This was following a series of problems with our unit's AC going out, as well as other issues with landscaping, pest control, and recent aesthetic choices. I felt that there was a disconnect between what residents have needed and what we have received since the change in management and substantial increases in rent over the last year or so. However, I am hopeful that the communication from management regarding their plans to address the AC issues and make necessary improvements will yield positive results. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the near future."
"There’s a serious roach problem I’m constantly cleaning nothing and still they come,THE AC DOESN'T COOL DOWN!! And all I’m told is to get blackout curtains and what cps supposedly says by office staff. They’re terrible I’m so happy and excited for my lease to finally be up. I moved here in 2021 and it was way better then. Ever since morning side took over it’s been hell and the price went up yet there’s no change except the ugly paint they slapped on the buildings. Do yourself a favor save your money and move else where."
"I've been a resident at Sunset Ridge since September 2020. The property management company changed from GreyStar to Morningside at the end of March 2022. Since the change of ownership, healthy trees have been cut down, lawn watering has seized, buildings have been painted to a dark navy blue (which retains heat) and trash has been accumulated around the apartment (some of it due to workers assisting with the landscaping)--see pictures attached. My rent is currently ~$1100 with utilities, Morningside is increasing my rent to ~$1300 without utilities, that's a $300 increase (with utilities) with absolutely nothing to show for it. Mind you I was delivered my renewal letter May 21 with a deadline of July 29...that's a window of just two months to either renew my lease or scramble to find somewhere else to live. Community input was also not gathered to inquire with the residents on improvements they’d like to see be made to the complex. My advice, as a current resident, to those hunting for a new apartment, is to rule out Sunset Ridge from your list of options. Not because of the location, community or amenities but because the property management company, Morningside, has taken full advantage and has exhibited coercive measures to the families, young professionals and seniors who have made this their home."
