"I am not a resident, but I did go on a tour here this past week. The office staff were very welcoming, personable, and kind. The clubhouse was beautifully decorated and smelled great, and their gym looks super clean and well equipped. Once I toured the actual apartment units, though, I was sadly turned off by how dirty they looked. In one, a toilet even had urine in it, and another toilet had mold. The finish on the tubs looked old and yellowed. Lots of grime around the edges of things/caulking. In my opinion, units should be sparkling clean and in best condition possible before touring and renting them out, especially for the price they're going for. I will say, the units are spacious with the exception of the closets, which are tiny. The kitchens were nice. I saw previous reviews about there being gunshots and crime on the property. So, ultimately, I decided to look elsewhere, but thank you to the staff for being informative and nice."
"When I walked through the doors of The Aidan I was met with a beautiful scent and clean lobby. I was immediately greeted by the assistant manager and property manager, Elizabeth. She was welcoming, kind, approachable and very knowledgeable on the area and the community. Though I didn’t lease I would absolutely recommend The Aidan based on my experience with the property manager Elizabeth and how well kept the property was!"
"Bugs And bad plumbing: I've lived here for a year. Pipes bust every week in one building or another. Meaning your water will be cut off unexpectedly. As a result of the water damage, there are pests! Roaches, water bugs, etc. I wouldn't rent here if I knew this before hand. Reply: the idea that I would have an issue with pet waste enforcement is ridiculous. I would actually prefer some enforcement, considering at this time, I cannot use the dog park. It is CONSISTENTLY filled with dog feces which is the perfect way to spread Parvo. Also, last night my neighbor left after being here for about 2 months because of a number of issues in her unit including sewer gas and a broken pipe. Another neighbor has been experiencing sewer gas FOR MONTHS. (Timely?) I personally have experienced a broken pipe in my bathroom that's took over 6 days to repair as well as roaches and water bugs since the incident. The property manager was on my phone for 20 minutes yesterday saying she understood but came back on here and tried to discredit my review. Instead of taking it personally it would be much more commendable to resolve the situation. Building 9 needs to be vacated and repaired but instead people movein here, not knowing, and nothing can be fixed properly. People should know the kind of apt they are renting and the price here as well as renovations would make you think differently."
"I never leave reviews but wanted to give a huge thank you to the property manager Liz for giving us a great tour while on our search for apartments. She was so friendly and welcoming and answered all of our questions and really took her time with the tour. The property is so beautiful! Thank you Liz for your help!"
"Sunday November 5th at 1:00am in the morning, I had 2 passengers in my car that I was dropping off at their apartment at The Aidan. I drove through the main gate to the left, further up I turned a corner. Two men wearing all black ran past my car on the right side. I and I’m sure my passengers were all wondering what was going on. When suddenly we heard gunshots. I ducked down and moved my car further to the left next to the parked cars. I actually saw the flashing lights from the gun. It seemed as though the gunman was in the courtyard behind the first apartment building, where the 2 men had come from. Once I got my passengers dropped off, they both ran to their apartment. As I drove further I realized both my front tires were flat, so I pulled over. Three cop cars showed up and I was able to tell them what had happened and where. I wrote out an incident report for 165 Forestbrook Dr. The police did find a few casings. The next day when I came to get my car towed, I talked to several residents who also heard the gunshots. One spoke about this happening once before. The police officer even said that this was a normal occurrence in this area. But you would never think it from how nice the area looks. Once my car was towed, the tow truck driver and I noticed there were 4 bullets that hit my car. I just wonder how my passengers are doing. I hope they are okay. I am blessed to be alive today. I did speak with the office and I gave them the incident report case number and the officer that I spoke with."
