"I was never late, actually paid well before the rent was actually due. On the last day of my lease, I planned to get the unit professionally cleaned before midnight (end of my lease), I was told via email that I had to submit keys prior to the end of their closing (1800hrs). So, that caused me to rush getting the rest of my items out of the unit. I also noticed the property patrolling my street ONLY the closer it got to 1800hrs, which was sort of sketchy. Prior to submitting my keys, I did a walk-through of the entire unit; opening/closing the doors and drawers that were not damaged at the time of my vacating the unit. I was told by William Lawson on a monitored and recorded line that their men damaged the drawer due to liner that I left in the drawer. He also told me that although my final charges stated I had a fee from the patio needing power washed, it was for the garage, not the patio. Then goes on to inform me that they charge everyone those fees. At this point, I am in question about several of the erroneous charges, as I should not be held responsible for them. I hope this is not retaliation from me choosing to move out. This leaves me no choice but to contact TREC."

"My partner/best friend committed suicide in our townhome, unexpectedly leaving me a 22yo single mother to our 1yo son. He was a good man, as well as our primary income and the person who qualified us as renters. I begged Luxe and corporate management (W3 Luxury Living) for humanity, grace, and a little compassion since I am not financially qualified to rent our townhouse alone, can’t afford the monthly rent on my salary, and most of all, my mental health can’t withstand staying there with memories of him in every room. But my pleas, even for negotiation, have been coldly and summarily dismissed, with corporate not bothering to respond to me and simply having Luxe management (Brooklin) resend the termination clause that lists payment options. Luxe is holding me solely responsible for the lease and all early termination fees, which total in the thousands of dollars. Their lack of care, complete disregard during a tragic, traumatic situation, and all-business coldness, highlight the complete absence of a soul in their staff, company, and management."

"Terrible. Nothing about the manisons of mckinney is luxury. the property manager is rude and unprofessional. the landscaping company is the worst. they sleep on lawns. leave there equipment in driveways. the workorders are not taken seriously. god forbid if you have an emergency. this place is full of bugs and they act as if its no big deal. disappointed for sure."

"This company should be ashamed of themselves. They built beautiful properties The Towers at Spring Creek and Rowlett just to sell their property to Berkshire for greed and money. A lot of the residents from day 1 when they started construction wished W3 didn’t sell the property and Berkshire has been a nightmare for everyone. They left all of their residents in the hands of a new terrible property management. I really considered moving out of Berkshires property and going back to W3 at Mercer Crossing but no I thought about how they left us for money and greed. No thanks."

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of residing at Luxe of McKinney apartment complex, and I must say that I am thoroughly disappointed with my time there. As nice as the complex may look, you should take the money you would spend on rent here for a one bedroom apt, and buy a house. It would be cheaper and you would not have to deal with all the rules. To start, I was the very first tenant to move in before the complex was even completed. My husband and I were paying for many months worth of amenities that were not even completed yet; pool, gym, and the park. We also were out of Wi-Fi and mail because they had issues with AT&T and usps setting up service in the area. I worked from home so this was an issue with no Wi-Fi. We asked to have reduced rent since we did not have these amenities and were shot down. Secondly, don't be shocked at how high your water bill is because you pay for the sprinklers and have no control of the settings. On top of that drainage in the back yards are terrible. My dogs could not go in the back yard when it rained due to flooding. Equally disappointing was the attitude of some of the Luxe of McKinney staff. (not all of the staff) Communication with a few staff members was subpar. I received automated messages to most of my emailed questions about my lease. When I finally got a genuine response, it was inaccurate. To add to the frustration, management agreed that there was an error in communication on our termination of leasing terms but insisted that there was nothing they could do to make the situation right. In summary, my experience at Luxe of McKinney was not great due to multiple frustrations, and a lease issue that the management team showed no genuine interest in resolving."
