"OK! An Honest Opinion from Three Year Tenant. I Dwell behind the Office at 600 East Arkansas Lane, Arlington, TX. My Great Former Neighbor works Masonry and gets Jobs all over the Dallas Metroplex. Arlington is a Mid City there. Neighbor had been here 5 years, with previous Owners and very different “management” (un-trained, dishonest!) They are long gone with New Owners and New Management. Neighbor moved North of (Central) East Arlington and has regretted it ever since. OK, he got a new apartment (These are late 1950’s Funky; Albeit Great Wood Framed and Larger One bedroom!) My upstairs One bedroom is about 650 sq feet! My Rent is Good compared to many Renters in this region. The New Management has been and is doing considerable Work on The Property=$$$! WE Need More One bedroom Folks here and Have The Rentals, with those yet not up to Code; being worked on Daily by Our Own Crew and additional specialists; Water Piping, Asphalt Repair. There is little to none storm damage in Seventy years existence. TREES were; Recently Trimmed by Pros and hazards are few on this property. Plus, You are Centrally located to work in whatever neighbor community you need to, or better yet Use The TRE; Trains and Bus System Our Neighbors operate! Arlington has VIA; Now Called; Arlington Transport; Highly discounted Ride Share! Oh, and Our Management?? Having been a Renter for four plus decades, They are One of the Best I have yet encountered, and IF I have a Toilet emergency? Just Pop a Service Request Online, And IF Humanly possible, THEY will FIX Your Need that Day. Mention my Name for Your Max Discounted Rent! Sincerely Yours, Michael Philip Oliver; Wartime Vet, 77 years."
"Let's start with the lies they have on their website. 1) There's only 1 pool and it's always green. 2) There's no such thing as 24 hour maintenance here! There's no maintenence at all! That's why there's always raw sewage running out into the parking lot from at least 2 buildings! 3) Absolutely no form of playground here at all. 4) The only shopping within walking distance is the convenience stores. 5) No on-site laundry whatsoever. 6) There's no such thing as designated parking here. Plus there's an endless supply of roaches. You have to keep your patio locked 24-7 to keep the crackheads from coming in to smoke their crack. Depending on location you'll flood every time it rains. NOBODY cleans up behind their dogs so kids can't play in the tiny bit of grass that there is. Management is changed every couple of months so they never actually know what's going on. Work orders for maintenance are constantly completed out in the system without ever even seeing anyone. So don't plan on anything getting fixed. If you complain about anything they'll nitpick your balcony or patio trying to evict you for breaking the rules in your lease even though everybody that shuts up and takes it gets away with whatever they want. Community billing of your water is paid entirely by the residents so you better hope they don't have to drain the pool again to get code enforcement to back off about how disgusting it gets. (All pics were taken over the course of the three years that I was stuck living here. I have so many more from the sewer backing up constantly that it's not even funny. The dumpster pics were all taken over time too, and I've got a ton more of them. Just save yourself the headache and DO NOT move here!!!!"
"Got lucky when my family initially moved in here, only had to wait a week after applying to move in. Place was... okay, at first. They advertised on-site laundry, but their "laundromat" was a single washer and dryer in a run-down shed. Apparently I wasn't allowed in there; I got locked out during the one time I did laundry there. When I spoke to the office staff, the first thing they said was "how did you get in there?" The cheap rent and ample parking were all this place had going for it, in my opinion. Those two points are no longer valid; I don't recommend this place anymore. Rent is being jacked up, to the point that I'm moving into a HOUSE that is cheaper than what this place now goes for. While there is still ample room in my unit's parking lot, management has instituted a draconian parking permit system. They only gave us 3 permits, even though we had 4 cars registered on our lease paperwork. I have to street-park my car a block away, because I can't trust their visitor registration system; despite their car being properly registered, my guest's car was towed last week, because apparently, they were not parked in a dedicated visitor's space. Visitor's parking spaces are not, and have never been marked in the 3 years I've lived here. My guest's car was damaged as a result of the tow, management has refused to foot the bill for their incompetence. Since the complex was sold last year, the new management has been dropping the ball left and right. They sent out a notice saying they were resurfacing our unit's parking lot back in November, but said resurfacing did not occur until this past April. To this day, it's still not complete; you can see unpaved squares where maintenance worked around parked cars, despite management's threats. I haven't even begun to talk about the quality of my unit; as bad as it was, the incompetence of the office staff has been worse. Brace yourself, if you still decide to move here for whatever reason. Apparently, they "filed" their 30 days' notice for me to move out two weeks ago. Nobody in my family was notifird at the time; I found out when I went to their office, and miraculously found a person to speak to, to give them MY notice."
