Windsor Lakeyard District Apartments 2570 Lake Ridge Road, The Colony, TX 75056

"I just have to share my experience living in this amazing apartment complex. Especially after my previous apartment disaster I dealt with before moving to Windsor Lakeyard District. First off I want to start off by saying this complex has one of the friendliest office staff, especially Gena! She made my transfer over from my previous apartments so easy and worry free. She went above and beyond making sure my move in was perfect. She was very responsive the entire time and explained in detail every question I had along the way. I will also add that the office staff is always doing fun things for its residents as well, which just puts the cherry on top for how amazing they are. Second I want to share my experience with the maintenance team. They are always quick to fix any little issues I had. No kidding when I say they come the day after you put in the request! I’ve never lived in an apartment with maintenance that came so quick. The property itself has amenities that are top-notch, especially the pool and fitness center. Everything is clean and the complex is so well kept. The apartment itself was very clean upon move in. Walls aren’t super thin like some apartments which is super nice!! I highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the market for a new apartment. You won't be disappointed!""

"I lived here once before when it was managed by Cortland. Cortland was cool but they let a lot slide with residents. Since Windsor has taken over I’ve seen things improve. One of them is the gates working! They never worked before. Guest parking is better, there is less trash floating around, and the trees that were cut down have been replaced! Little improvements are happening bit by and I like to see it. I hope the water pooling in the grass is next! Overall I love the staff and have renewed my lease!"

"This apartment complex is amazing! Such a stunning and well-maintained property, but the highlight is the property manager Lorelei! She is FANTASTIC!! I had an issue with my billing after the management company switched from Cortland to Windsor and she resolved it within the hour!! She's also helped countless times whenever I have any other resident concerns. They're super responsive and so sweet in the office!! The maintenance team is also awesome. They are so friendly, always say hi to residents and fix apartment issues PROMPTLY! I remember I had a leak in my apartment and they came the same day to fix it and fully re-painted the walls. I love it here and am so happy I moved across the country and made this place my home! Definitely recommend if you are looking for luxury that's priced well and has an amazing staff :)"

"My experience here has improved tremendously. Previously, with Cortland maintenance was slow, intrusive and rarely completed request. With new management, our maintenance team is efficient and respectful. The front office has been of even greater help. I noticed an additional fee (mistake) on my bill and it was handled immediately. They are always so friendly and assist when needed. The Windsor Team and Management is a complete turn around from the headaches that Cortland brought. They host great events and are very in tune with the community. And they got the gate fixed! Definitely resigning my lease."

"Been a resident here since they were with GreyStar, and I have to say that Windsor management so far has been GREAT. This community has gone from GreyStar to Cortland to Windsor now. Lorelei and her team have addressed issues that we’ve had with Cortland for years (people from outside the complex using our facilities, owners leaving dog waste everywhere in the grass, etc.) If you are a new resident interested in this community, here are some great things about Windsor Lakeyard District: 1) Staff is amazing and attentive to issues 2) Community events involving food and activities 3) Beautiful office, gym, and amenities for resident use in the main building 4) Clean dog park 5) Apartments can be a bit pricy, but they are very spacious (some have a lawn with them) and beautiful. You definitely get what you pay for. 6) No issues finding parking spots even late at night (there are a lot of spaces in this community) 7) Very pet friendly and a safe community for kids I’ve seen the 1 star reviews as of recent, but I don’t quite agree. A lot of the mishaps were due to Cortland not working with Windsor during the transition and the residents suffered because of it. Lorelei and her staff here have done everything they can to make the community prosper despite the troubles."
