"A coworker recommended this place and locked in his apartment 60 days before move in. I went online and booked a tour for 5pm. In one day I received two calls - the first confirming, then the second one hours later asking if I could come earlier because they close at 5. I advised no, I’m off work at 430, she said okay come at 5. The next day I received the first call reminding me again (as if the 2 calls the day before wasn’t enough). Then at 3pm another call to “talk” and confirm 5pm. I advised we can “talk” once I get there as I am at work. I arrive at 5, advised what I was looking for and when - she plugged in my date and then said they cannot see that far out. Okay .. so when can you see prices and said within the same month I’m going to move. What leasing company only requires 30 day notice? None. I didn’t even bring up my coworker, or the fact that she could’ve said that any of the 4 times they called as I confirmed that date on the tour inquiry. It was clear they wanted to deter me from the beginning - waste of time! Right next to the mall which is a huge red flag for theft anyway."

"We wanted to recognize Kamyia, Danni, and the leasing staff for an awesome job from the start to the end of our move into The Carter. We moved from the Silverlake in Grapevine thinking that was the best apartment complex in the area. The Silverlake continued to raise the rent there and provide fewer services as the building complex under new management has declined. The Carter is brand new with outstanding and convenient amenities. We are very impressed and highly recommend The Carter if you moving to this area. Again Huge Thank you to the Leasing staff and hope their superiors give them the recognition they deserve. Also, the maintenance staff has been on it with the little fixes we have had. Oscar and the Maintenance staff are very professional and prompt to our needs. Thanks again to The Carter staff for making us feel at home and very happy with our decision to move to this outstanding complex. Steve and Gila Oxford"

"The Carter is one of my favorite places to live! Shay, Kamiya, and Danni have made the move in process so quick. I am so impressed with how the whole office staff handles all my needs so quick. I love the fact that I feel very safe in the community with the Courtesy Officer on site. I have been here for almost 3 months now and I could not be happier that I found a place to live that I feel welcomed, respected, and better yet like I am safe. The Cater is for sure going to be my home for a long time!"

"0 stars is more like it. DO NOT MOVE HERE! I moved into this hell hole a month and a half ago to a brand new building. The property manager or assistant manager was told of the 7 issues from painted over bathroom exhaust vents, chipped counters, glue on floors in multiple places, glue on door knobs, security issues, parking. They lied about inspecting the apartment after the builder released it and lied about cleaning it. Move-in day was delayed a week due to the contractor missing the deadline. The elevator broke down with my family and movers inside. The office was no where to be found. Finally got ahold of the managers and they said a maintenance worker would be coming in soon. They do not care about leaving people stranded in the elevator for hours and didn't call the fire department. I came into the office on several occasions after this to discuss the issues politely and ask when the issues would be fixed. The response was underwhelming. My first month in the apartment my vehicle and others were broken into. I also asked to move parking spots to at least on my apartment side of the second building, as every spot on the property is reserved. The assist manager snapped at me and said All Spots are Reserved, the parking is connected to the apartment and cannot be changed. I said since there is 10% occupancy and the additional security issues of my or my families deaths maybe we can just look and see. They dismissed me like I was trash. I'm fearful for my life living here. I asked for the Regional Manager and they said no. I asked for the Manager for the apartment complex and they said no. I've called the regional manager under Integrated Real Estate Group and awaiting a call back. If that weren't enough there is a single dumpster and trash compactor for the entire complex. Weekly trash is overflowing to where you aren't able to open the door to that area and the complex is just over half full. This is the worst Property Managers I've ever dealt with or heard about. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The prices are way to high for the issues and hostile Property Manager environment."

"Living at The Carter has been an absolute blast, and I couldn’t be prouder to call it home! The staff here? They are like friendly neighbors you’ve always wanted. Need something fixed? They swoop in like superheroes. They make living here feel like a breeze. The fitness center keeps me on my toes, and the pool area is my personal oasis. Oh, and did I mention the location? It’s like having the city’s coolest hang out in your backyard. My apartment? It’s a space I’m seriously proud of. Spacious, comfy, and with views that make me feel like I’m on top of the world. It’s a lifestyle I’m thrilled to be a part of. You’ve got to experience it!"
