"My lease is about to end after having lived there since August 2022, and this will be as honest of a review as possible. When the other reviewers say that there's roaches, they aren't joking. Roaches will find a way through ANYWHERE where they can fit, and I mean ANYWHERE; I've even seen a few come out of my sink. And the worst part is that maintenance pretends that they aren't an issue when you try to complain to them, so I had to resort to using roach traps, pesticide, etc. in order for them to go away. Granted, I didn't see them as often as I used to as time went on, but this is not something I should be dealing with at a place where I live, especially since they increased my rent when I renewed my lease and I'd been going from paying around $900 a month to almost $1200 a month, so you'd think the roaches would be completely gone by then. The thermostat is also controlled by management. They'll do a rollover of the heat or AC twice a year for whenever there's a change in temperature (AC for warmer seasons, heat for cooler seasons). This isn't a huge issue throughout the warmer seasons since summers in Texas are brutal, but it can be an annoyance throughout the cooler seasons since Texas winters aren't always cold; I can recall times where the weather would be warmer than usual throughout the winter months and I'd be sweating profusely. All of that being said, I don't have all bad things to say about this place; it was my first ever "big girl" apartment since moving out on my own and when I was trying to get on my feet financially, so a part of me will miss it. But if you're willing to pay extra for someplace nicer, I would do just that."
"Cockroach infestation AND now I've had no hot water for more than 3 days. This is against Texas law. The hot water should have been fixed by now. My next phone call will be my ATTORNEY. Just because these are the low credit apartments doesn't mean we should be living in SLUMS."
"For some reason my review was deleted. Maybe because I was being truthful and someone didnt like it. So I'm going to post it again. I had to endure this awful place for a year. The manager told us we would have new carpet and paint but when we moved in there was paint drippings, dog hair, matted where the previous tenants dog would lay and it smelled bad. The paint did not match and you could see everywhere they touched up. It is required by law that the tenant has the right to a move out inspection prior to move out. The manager wouldnt honor our request for this and kept saying "we will check it when you move out." This place wasn't worth 50.00 a month and here's why.... 1. Roaches! I cant stand roaches and had to live with it for a year. Pest control came several times with no results. Roaches would get in my fridge! I had to clean my fridge from roaches every few days!! One day found one in my drink! They crawl out of the walls so the buildings are infested. 2. Stinks! Everytime one of your neighbors cook you can smell it. And it smelled like curry and I dont know what. They would cook late at night so I would get woke up around midnight with this nasty smell and it would take an hour or more to go away. 3. Floors squeak! So annoying. 4. Hot water goes in and out! One time went without hot water for 2 weeks. 5. Maintenance no good! Had to call maintenance after hours for emergency leaks and they didn't show until the next day in the afternoon. Couple of times had to wait 2 weeks for a work order to get done. Was without a stove for a week. I noticed 4 or 5 different maintenance guys there in a year, which says alot about management and the property. Noone wants to work there! 6. Parking. Don't make one little mistake with the parking!! They towed me twice costing me 700.00 And they drive through frequently with forks down ready to tow. 7. Ac didn't work good! Was so hot upstairs and had to sweat all summer. Maintenance came a couple times but didn't fix it. 8. Noise! Neighbors run up and down the stairs and have no consideration. Sometimes loud parties until 4 or 5am!! 9. Communication! It was very difficult to reach anyone in the office because they are hardly there. So if you like sweating in bed cause it's hot, waking up to horrible cooking smells in the middle of the night, like your car being towed, love roaches in your fridge and noisy neighbors then move here. You'd be so happy! The way I see it is this place owes me about 1200.00 a month for the 12 miserable months I was there."
"Not a good experience. While I was there, we never got cold water during summer. you have to take bath with hot water in hot weather. Also, no lights in the bed room. Not good for students at all."
"Do not move here! I had never heard of a "heat rollover" before until my boyfriend lived here. During the winter there is NO AC only heat. It's ridiculous that people are PAYING to live somewhere they have to suffer being hot during the winter! It is not always cold during Texas winters. Then there is a "heat rollover" when they finally decide its hot enough outside to let you have your AC back, that happens around March. Texas is already warm by then. Luckily I would let my boyfriend stay with me that day/night. As for the rest of the tenants it is unfair and cruel to make them live in those conditions. Think twice before moving here, you won't have control over your heat or ac and the landlord does not care."
