Reviews of The Loop Apartments
"Very friendly and helpfull management staff. Moving in was a smooth process."
"I work for a Funeral Home and yesterday a resident whose husband passed made arrangements for us to come by and pick up payment to save her 1 hour and 30 min of travel, being that she is elderly as well. I made it to the apartment park in front of her unit in the funeral home hearse and to my surprise I walked out and the apartment had the hearse towed from the apartments. What kind of business would do their residents this way when they are already suffering from grief? I would not move here if I were homeless if this is how you do your residents. I walked into the office and a lady working without a care in the world said You were not parked in a visitor space here is the number to the tow company. My purse, lunch, and everything personal to me were in the vehicle. And I made this drive from Mansfield Texas which was 1 hour 30 minutes in the pouring down rain. Nowhere did I see you had to park in a visitor spot. But my question is do the ambulance, police, fire department, UPS, and FedEx, park in visitor spots as well when responding to a call or do they get towed as well? UPDATE: AS discussed the tow company explained that they were contracted and the tow was approved by the Loop Apartments. I have made the proper complaints to The Justice of Peace as Well to the State of Austin. You have one sign posted on the sidewalk to the left side of the apartments and the entrance is off a HWY of speeds 60 mph or more. There are no other signs posted inside the apartments anywhere else. I do have the street view on Google to back my facts. I have the whole conversation we had recorded. You also stated nothing showed you that it was a commercial/work vehicle which I will show. I don't know anybody who would drive around a funeral vehicle just for fun. When you see these vehicles you automatically know that it is a Hearse. The resident had just lost her husband of 32 years so I'm pretty sure that she didn't think to remember to mention hey they tow make sure you park the hearse in the visitor spot. But then again some people would have had compassion on the matter at hand and not another opportunity to get money. No morals or integrity or sense of compassion"
"The Loop has come a long way since the new management company took over. There have been many improvements and the place is looking very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful."
"Just moved in, but already loving it here! Office staff was extremely helpful, the apartment was clean, and maintenance was quick to fix whatever issues came up. There is so much room and I feel like I've found my home. There are no hidden costs and added charges for things that I don't use (valet trash, cable). Best of all, I don't have the hassle of going into an app and registering guests so they can park every time someone visits. Overall, great place to live!"
"Update: I was informed by area law enforcement about their predatory towing practices and that it is illegal to tow for expired licenses or tags. They deserve less than zero stars. My daughter lives here. They have towed her car twice for not having her car registration up to date. (She has a legit reason) So, either they think their garbage, bug infested complex is some kind of extension of the government, or they are getting kickbacks from the towing/impound company. Pretty sure it’s the money. Also, at the beginning, they asked her for $50 and charged her card for $250. Watch out. It’s the money grab again. Please do explore your other options. The rent here is not worth the absurdity that comes with the the apartment. Don’t believe it? Just read the other reviews."
