"Don’t live here. Go somewhere that isn’t surrounded by homeless people. You literally can’t walk outside at night without fearing for your safety. People break into the pool and party all night, but courtesy officer is no where to be found. Also, parking garage hits capacity by 9 PM, but if you park in a “reserved” spot, they put a sticker on your car instead of just calling you."

"Great office and maintenance stuff. Very responsive with repair issues. Great pool but I have yet to actually get it, but when I do, it's going to be office. Complimentary coffee machine (with like 10 choices) available outside the office 24/7 - love this! I've only been here 2 months but it feels like home!"

"Been living in apartments for the last ten years (all over DFW) - and have been at Montage now for 2 months and it’s easy to say these are by far my favorite EVER. Hard to set such a high standard but Southside lives up to all the hype. Hardly any noise transfer between apartments. Respectful neighbors (everyone kind and friendly in the halls and at the pool). Front desk people are always happy to lend a hand and very courteous and kind! I feel very safe here and love the garage that doesn’t have a ton of blind corners (like many others I’ve lived in in the past). Close to everything but far enough not to be in the middle of the chaos. Can’t say enough good things! Would live here forever if I could!"

"If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The complex was a 5 star place when it was Broadstone Southside, but it changed once they were bought out by another company. I was worried about my deposit when it changed hands because I had to give a significant deposit because of my credit and I read several other reviews about this company that I wouldn’t get a dime back. Prior to this the place went downhill fast once they took over. The garbage room where the chutes were are disgusting, the parking garage doors were almost always left open which didn’t make any of us feel very safe considering where we were located. The property management group rarely answers their phones, and never responded to my emails… I had to write to them by submitting a work request through the resident portal in order for them to respond to me. When I moved out, I came back and cleaned the place from top to bottom. The place looked brand new. I even took pictures (see below). I was just told that not only will I not get my $700 plus dollars back but that I owe them money. They claim they had to paint the entire apartment and replace the bedroom carpet. That carpet looked brand new there wasn’t a spot on it. Do companies have any integrity anymore? I was told I would get the deposit back when I first had to come up with the money and then when I was checking out with Montage. The office worker said the charges should be very minimal and I would likely get most of my deposit back. I guess that was a lie. I asked her why they felt the need to replace the carpet and paint the walls and I was told it wasn’t up to the owner’s liking. When I told her I had pictures, she says those won’t hold up in court. They were extremely condescending. I was going to use that money to fly home to see my parents who aren’t doing well and now I can’t. People wonder why corporate America is so loathed, it’s because they steal our money. I plan on reporting them to the BBB along with getting an attorney because"
