"I waited it for 2 months for an appointment. Drove from oklahoma city for 4 hour got there and the Doctor took 5 minutes to see my son gave him some pills and blood work. My son got some what better but no cure. I didn't like that the Doctor didn't take the time to explain and check my son. Now I need a referral transfer to OK and no one answers the phone. They are playing with the health of the kids"
"I've been on hold 20 minutes and haven't talked to a real person. All I'm trying to do is schedule an appointment. What a JOKE. Yall wouldn't last a day at my job, where we actually answer calls within 3 rings. Hire more staff"
"My special needs daughter has been coming here since 2019. She's been under the care of Dr. Ogunmula ever since. However, Dr. Ogunmula has yet to find out why my daughter is vomiting constantly. My daughter sees other specialist doctors besides gastrointerologist. And i can't express how disappointed I am with the gastrointerologist and endocrinologist departments. Dr. Ogunmula recently ordered blood work for my daughter to check her vitamin level, which he had never done before since 2019. and endocrinologist have never asked for it either. Come to find out, my daughter is very low with vitamin A. Lack of iron and white blood cells are high. I think basic blood work is necessary for children with special needs, knowing that they have a lot of medical problems. I have been worried now how long my daughter has been low with Vitamin A and iron. And how long she has been high with white blood cells. Since 2019, there have been no other check ups they have done except a hand x-ray by an endocrinologist to determine her adult height and missed the basic check of blood work. We have decided to leave CookChildren’s GI and endocrinologist."
"Over 10 years ago we went here and tried many formulas that my child had a horrible intolerance/allergy to and other parents with children that have the SAME syndrome said their child could only tolerate ' Real Food Blends ' or real food they blended in a blender through their gtube. When I told them what I wanted they said it wasn't "appropriate" and after several attempt to try and get them on board (all the while my child's cheeks were bleeding from all the acid from the formulas and vomiting along with rashes and gtube irritated) they refused so I switched to Children's Health in Dallas. Cook Children's GI called CPS on me for neglect because I changed providers and they told them my child had no GI provider. That case closed real quick. Thank God the case worker wasn't corrupt and accepted the facts. Had amazing care for all these years at Children's Health in Dallas but they are just horrible with getting paperwork completed so my child doesn't go without their essential DME supplies so I decided to give Cook Children's another try. No matter the location she is "black listed". It's crazy. I really couldn't believe it after all these years just because we switched providers. I even tried little clinics. Nope. If the physician is associated with Cook Children's they won't allow us to schedule. Maybe a blessing because they probably would have fabricated something and called CPS again. Definitely do not recommend any Cook Children's."
"Terrible after hours service and care by the on-call provider! We see Allison and love her, but will not be returning. I need a staff that’s willing to care for the best interest of my son at any time or day regardless of if it’s convenient or not. After hour refills are not policy here and while that is 100 percent understandable a baby refusing to eat because of pain should be prioritized over policy. (Mind you it’s 48 hours until Monday). The refill did get done with my husbands request but it’s unsettling it took a fight to get there. The patients best interest should always come first. In addition the girl from the answering service hung up on me when i was nothing but kind to her despite her ugly attitude."
